Automod AI being removed is really good as technology isn't ready for automod. (and probably never will be) Edit: I also wanna point out that at this point a second American revolution is the only way the US can be saved from bad government.
The American Library Association is against using a filter for child safety because there isn't a filter that exists which is 1. Actually GOOD enough at filtering something basic like NSFW images vs SFW images 2. Open source (corporations who make the filters don't explain what they count as "harmful to kids") 3. Unbiased (what these corporations count as dangerous can vary from blocking everything related to LGBTQIA+ identities, abortions, basic sex ed, ect.)
Democrats want to normalize showing LGBT shit to kids and they want the age of consent lowered. Republicans dont want that shit. This is why parents need to get off their asses and actually parent/monitor what their kids are doing online than fucking relying on the federal government to parent children.
Honestly this is a hard choice not gonna lie, while i do like the idea of protecting kids from the internet and not having any more ipad kids, i don't like the idea of blocking useful unbiased information on the internet, like information about LGBTQ+ (since the old people keep saying they're groomers and other yapping bs). And plus isn't this the parents responsibility to make sure their child is safe online, this is one of the reasons why ipad kids exists unfortunately because of the parents not taking care of their children.

Huh first I heard of this, while it's all good, surely there's a way for the PK folkses to go and get information out to servers who use that bot right?
I can appreciate someone gutsy enough to play Yuumi
KOSA and the hearing was also broadcast on OAN? Yiiiikes.
they fixed the old UI glitch and now it's not working.
R.I.P old UI glitch
best solution is that all social media sites are raised from 13yrs+ to 16yrs+ children should not be on social media period. lets not go through all this bs when you can simply remove these kids from the sites and if they lie that they're old enough well their fault they shouldnt lie. Also no social media site is responsible for a teens depression etc thats just a bs ideal for parents to cover that they cant or wont control their own brats so everyone else has to play babysitter and tiptoe around them...nah the us senate can get fucked

is it just me or did the method for using the old ui for mobile stop working? when i woke up it was back to the new ui when i checked my phone
Yea, it stopped working. I also just went into discord on mobile and this ui is back. Looks like it's staying for good.
i use a modified client that still have the older ui's
Would love to see his search history
We don’t talk about that around here
THANK YOU for actually researching the bills for once-this is why I love your TH-cam channel
For a second there I thought you put JonTron in the thumbnail
Every time the camera cuts back to Jason it looks exactly like a random skit from a JonTron video 😂
7:43 if anybody's curious what that says, it's korean, and it basically says "i want to throw your hamster"
Help, my UI reverted to the new one even though I input the code when the old UI video came out, and it does work again, and now I'm stuck with the new UI, what do I do ?
it's fixed. you can either get used to new ui or maybe downgrade
@@trueffetbysyqual How do you downgrade ? I hate the ui
You use a modded discord cilent which can get you banned,
5:59 clean setup bro
Jason looks like a mix of Jontron with some other kind of TH-camr with glasses
For the call background, the first one is actually automatically on for my phone
I don't have nitro btw
THEY PATCHED THE MOBILE UI METHOD
"We have, Lizard Man" ☠
Jesus, Jason literally looks like what we depict when we say Discord Admin.
The discord-alt-tab issue is Windows's fault btw. I forgot how to fix it but just go to the notification settings and tinker a bit and it'll fix itself.
9:07 DID I SEE THE GD NORMAL DIFFICULTY EMOJI
0:30 - Their introduction was hilarious. 😂
Discord CEO totally doesn't want to be sued and wants to be back on Discord.
Man we really need to get younger people into our entire government at this point
Automod AI being removed is really good as technology isn't ready for automod. (and probably never will be)
Edit: I also wanna point out that at this point a second American revolution is the only way the US can be saved from bad government.
Wasn't the Civil War basically the second American revolution?
@@LloydTheZephyrian welp, third times the charm like they say right?
your genius subtle humor is literally amazing, thank you so much 😂
The American Library Association is against using a filter for child safety because there isn't a filter that exists which is 1.
Can't believe they got JonTron.
@budget-20 understandable, its just me yapping about old people
"Saying" I don't know man, you can freely check statistic about child related incidents and who is extremely more likely to perpetrate them.
@@paull1248 yeah you mean those news about the Vatican? Wild shit lmfaoooo
5:55 respect man, you are one of us cultured bois
KOSA IS COPA
Kids Online Safety Act
Children Online Protection Act
no, two different things.
COPPA (Children’s Online PRIVACY Protection Act) Prevents and makes selling any type of data, collected info, cookies, app/website trackers, etc to 3rd-party services ILLEGAL, IF said user of application is under 13.
KOSA on the other hand, is relevant to censorship.
KOSA forbids children from seeing anything listed but not limited to: politics, weapons, 18+, related to unstable mental health, medication, and way more.
"The lizard man" killed me LOL
Oh btw the old UI reversion got patched out. Your video is outdated
That senate hearing is so hard to watch. Poor Zucky Wucky just getting yelled at by the big mean senators with his puppy dog lizard eyes
on discord most servers im in are 13+; and child grooming is extremely common on discord. and one of my friends was in a server designed for child grooming, of course she didn't know at the time. she was 13, and when she attempted to leave the server, they showed up at her house, because apart of the server at some point, was to give up your personal information. my friend was an innocent child, she did not know any better.
oh also my 13 year old friend also dated a guy on discord. which went to jail for child grooming, and had CP. but my 13 year old friend never wanted any of this, she just assumed people were kind, and because she assumed people were kind, she was targeted and abused.
grooming on discord and the internet at large, is way bigger than people think it is; and anyone assuming it's not, is just leading to more kids getting abused. a problem can only be solved, when the problem is taken seriously. i see so many comments in this comment section taking this ordeal with the CEO's going to court over child safety on there platforms as a joke.
what the fuck did you expect from an 18+ app you retarded kid lmao
that law is older by me than one year and the internet has changed so much in the last 10 years since i was a teenager that they should change most laws regarding it
4:33 🤓 as a yuumi main i can tell you this is old footage
Hearing that lobbying is the legal form of corruption is wild considering that in my country it is not. And I mean, lobbying didn't stop because the law said so, but it is illegal.
"AI is gonna take over the world" they said.. AI:
I’m surprised you didn’t bring up video from the PBS news, I was there when it was live and it was funny.
Why removing auto mod? It's a good feature
No-one is removing automod
Roblox: Lmfao, my chat filter is soo good that you can buy sussy stuff!
It's important to remember that behind every digital platform, there are dedicated individuals working hard to make it better for all users. Let's appreciate the efforts of the Discord team and work together to create a safer and more inclusive online community.
Hell no, I've reported someone atleast 7 times and even emailed them because they leaked private pics of a 13 year old, And they did absolutely NOTHING, better yet, They have the worst customer service reviews ever for this reason
1. THEY ARE VERY SLOW
2. They will ask for everything over and over again even after you send it to them
and they will still end up doing NOTHING, i literally had to get that creep arrested because discord wouldn't do anything, I had called the cops and everything and they did something.
There's no way i will ever respect the discord team, They do not create a safer community.
somehow david bazuki isnt here

This was the least channel i'd expect to talk about the agenda and politics lol, still, everything you said it's true, this type of social platforms shouldn't be obligated to follow politic ideologies.
well these politicians are suppose to be working for the better of US civilians, but specifically in this case, US children. there suppose to be helping us. politics is not suppose to be this nasty and awful; politics is suppose to be a thing of glory and support of our fine country.
how we have strayed from Gods light. if God is even real.
