Africa in the 1700's - Not What You've Been Told
The story we get of our past does not match the writings and pictures of those eras. Why because history is written by the winners. In this video we have a look at Africa in the 1700's as shown by the Spanish explorers.

That's why they burnt all the books they could... I had a book from the 1750's that talked about how they we able to control prisoners by turning them against each other... after trying several different ways, they were successful with separation by color!

@Joosy Jay It was 30 years ago...the book was very hard to read, it was in English, but nothing like I've seen before, or read again...it was like a different language, I want to say the name was in French, it read like a diary kind of, I was never able read it from cover to cover, I was grabbing the dictionary every other word...I do remember it came from a library in London...there was a whole library in a 4 car garage of a house that was being torn down, we were told to throw everything in a big dumpster, but could keep what ever we wanted, so I just filled up boxes of the oldest books I could find...think the book was like pressed leather, I want to say it was green with a castle cover or an etching when you opened it, but I'm reaching...I had so many old books but most were in other languages.

Those types of books are so fun to read.
I have a school book about sciences that dates from 1859. There are version of it available on Google books (or whatever), but I haven't found the same version (which seems to have more engravings in it and more stuff).
      The title is:>>
A system of natural phylosophy: in which are explained of Mechanics, Hydrostatics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Acoustics, Optics, Astronomy, Electricity, Magnetism, Steam Engine, Electro-magnetism, Electrotype, Photography, and Daguerreotype ; to which are added questions for the examination of pupils designed for the use of schools and academies.

@@Poodleinacan oh man that sounds awesome...I was fun to read, my friends and I would pass it around and take turns trying to figure out the words, but but the spelling was different on a lot of normal words...once we realized what was being said, it got spooky then scary...the prisoners the book was talking about seemed more like monsters...it was about a prison on the upper east coast, that housed the worst people, and it was said some prisoners just one man would have 100 guards and another might have 25...the people were that strong some were said to be giants...long story short, they needed a way to control the prisoners that didn't take so many guards, because it was so dangerous and was getting hard to find people that would work!
They tried to separate people by smell first, then size, then hair color, then finally color of skin finally worked...well ot was cool thinking about that book again!
All the books including that one all got water damage, and got thrown away. ..they were not even that bad, but at least I got to enjoy them a little more before they were lost forever!

So you see now that your race is not what it pretends to be but it is the Ancient DRAGON that keep deceiving the whole earth, just like the Bible predicted. Cain from whom all the red-skinned people originated, was and is still a murderer and liar, who has being in league with the Adversary since the beginning of time. You may not believe it,but time will reveal anything that is hidden in the house of the rising sun. The bridegroom and tabernacle from which nothing can hide from the heat thereof. You see, your time has arrived. There is no hiding place for the Wicked ! But still most can't see that this particular Aeon is shortened for a reason and purpose !

At about 19.45 is a map of Cape Town. South Africa. The map names are mostly in Dutch and Afrikaans (the language that developed from Dutch). The Dutch East India Trading Company arrived in 1652 followed by Dutch Settlers, some of whom were escaping religious persecution in Europe. The British arrived in the late 1700's and proceeded to take over in 1795. So the ships we see are not Spanish but Dutch and then later there were British ships bringing soldiers and settlers from Britain to South Africa in the 1800's There is a genuine star city still standing today within the town limits. Its called the Castle of Good Hope and people mostly think its an old fort.

Great illustrations, but whoa! ...AutoDidactic's knowledge of both geography and history are loopy, to put it mildly! He conflates the Spanish (who went to South America) and the Portuguese, when they're not the same nation at all: Bartholomew Dias, in 1488, and Vasco da Gama, in 1497, discovered the route around the Cape of Good Hope ie. Cape Town, South Africa (inhabited by Khoisan & Hottentots), on their route to India {Goa). Then the Dutch arrived (Jan van Riebeeck, in 1652) and built the star fort of the Dutch East India Company in Cape town, first of clay & wood, then of stone (1666-1679). I know because I'm from there. So yes, by 200 years later, they had long been on their building spree!

Sometimes referred to as "African Stonehenge", it predates both Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid of Giza by tens of thousands of years. Located in Mpumalanga, South Africa .It is a standing stone circle about 30 meters in diameter and has been estimated by some accounts to be more than 75,000 years old. Various astronomical alignments have been identified at the site and it is possibly the only example of a completely functional, mostly intact megalithic stone calendar in the world.

The fact that Africa was advanced can be verified from other histories and are well known in other cultures. For example Mansa Musa of Mali was purportedly the richest man in the world, travelled from Mali to Makkah with his entourage and caused inflation with his gold coins.
Also much earlier, during Roman and Sassanid times, there was a flourishing kingdom in Abyssinia.

On the East Coast, Mozambique is Portuguese. In Mauritius and the Congo, they speak French. The Northern Eastern regions of Africa, have Persian , Indian & Malaysian influence, as do Madagascar and Zanzibar. Germans came later, into today's Namibia. And of course, the British followed. But dont think about countries like modern terms, there are merchants form other countries that operate under Portuguese or Dutch flag. For example Genoese and Neapolitan. 1- Madagaskar was an Indonesian kingdom. There are two main groups of people that inhabited the island, the Indonesian people a group of interracial Black/Indonesian people.
2-Some Black tribes in Africa have a tradition of fixing the hair straight with various types of paste. They tend to have long hair. Also there are tribes people who are of a mixed racial admixture. Remember there was also a genetic bottle neck that drove people back to Africa after a significant period of diversion and Arabs and Jewish have also lived in Africa. Africans are the most genetic diverse people on the planet. There are many different facial types, including low broad noses and high aquiline noses amongst the Black populations and various cheekbone structures.
3-I’m wondering if the “castles” are just a common Eurocentric shorthand for “Kingdom”.

As a theory what we have in the African context is a totally displaced historical record. These are advanced societies, forging metals, building fortifications, complex urban areas, transport modes, trading etc. "Out of Africa", fascinating it really makes you question the medievial Dark Ages period as a total European white wash, did the power of Church and State cleverly disguise Africa's early advances.

I'm in my 40s and what I learned about other countries in school was pretty minimal, even world history focused mostly on 1900-present. I'm sure this is going to seem really dumb but what I do remember learning was that Africa was mostly inhabited by tribes. There were kings and everyone lived in grass huts and hunted the animals. Some people started to farm but a drought in the 80s when I was in grade school meant that a lot of people starved. We didn't even think there was advanced civilization like paved roads and cities or institutions like schools and hospitals. I think it was mostly just that we didn't learn much about it and the pictures we saw tended to emphasize the different cultural milieu like clothing and hunting with spears and stuff like that. To be honest, I moved to Korea in my 20s and I thought I'd be living in a hut walking to school. That does still happen, but in the very rural countryside. Imagine my surprise when I saw Seoul. :0 ;)

@@Ric9hardify You are right, Jesse Jackson DS puppet started that, black people in America were African American, when some may be, but The Moors were black and alot of the black nobility Moors came to America first and settled in where North and South Carolina is. They brought white people that were under servitude to the Black Nobility. Both white and black people have been lied to about our History in America, there are some books that were written around 1881 and before, that by one man, I forget his name, but do search, and you will find him, that are still some out there he wrote, He tells that Real History of America and the Indian ancestors were Roman, (the Hopi Indians always said there ancestors were from Rome) they escaped from slavery and the land was diff back then, they walked over and some came in ships, they were copper colored people, they were the Hebrew tribes, settled where Utah is today, I think that is why American gov tried to exterminate the Indians, Cover up our real History, destroy Gods Chosen people, then this book talks about the black Moors coming and there were no Pilgrams, Its mind blowing, and he said Abraham Lincoln was black, and George Washington was black, And alot of the white people came from the prisons in England when the King under a program in the mid 1600's for them to work out there prison sentence under servitude and their masters were black. Strange, not we were told, a black guy on you tube teaches all this on his channel,, He bought one of those History books in a thrift store. I will have to look up his channel again, forget his name, but I will come back and post it in the comments. This Historian author back in the 1800's wrote some more History books later in 1920's, but they dont have the true History in them. Strange, its like they burned the earlyer History books and changed our History. Some say they did some kind of global reset around early 1900 or in the late 1890's, thats when everything changed, The orphan trains were all over America, Pictures of San Franscisco with no adults in them, buildings we could not even hardly build today, lots of building, the city was huge, I think the buildings they are telling us where Worlds Fair were reeducated camps for the adults that did live through it and still had some of there memory. I am still researching all of this, lots to learn. There were these mental hospitals build everywhere and then around the 1920/s they were all closed/ Even Catholic Orphanges and churches build way out in the boonies in the midwest where there were no towns, Wierd.

Claiming 'all of Africa just covered with castles' when you are showing a map of north eastern countries, claiming 'those are canals' when they are clearly rivers, demonstrates confirmation bias beyond belief. You gotta read Fomenko. He proves an explanation for this African anomaly, the South American anomaly, and even the similarities between the two. There was a Judeo-Christian-Slavic-Turkic one-world government 1300s-1500s. When that government was overthrown from its capital in Volga-region Russia around 1600 ("Great Strife" in Russia; Romanovs take over), many conquered areas outside the capital-region remained loyal to the Empire. The Christianization of the world is attributed to the missionaries of the 1500s-1700s, but it was actually the 1400s-1500s mostly. The missionaries of the 1600s and 1700s were merely destroying records of local developments under the Empire and re-writing locally recorded histories of the Empire to appear as if they are actually histories of the local area. This is why, today, we encounter the trope "history repeats itself." In reality, this repetition is occurring only on paper.
If you study this topic without reading Fomenko, you're bumbling about in the dark. Even if some of his more specific conclusions are wrong, the framework for thinking about these issues that he develops puts much into perspective.
Btw, 1) there aren't supposed to be orangutans in Africa and 2) that drawing doesn't look like an orangutan. Perhaps the "orangutan" is the term that used to be applied to many great apes. The drawing looks like a female gorilla or a chimp/bonobo.
23:25 you missed the humanoids of different sizes. The ones in the background are depicted as much larger than the ones in the foreground. The artist uses perspective well generally, so this isn't an error. Of course even today Africa boasts the Masai (average male 6'6") less than 1000 miles from pygmy populations (average male under 5'), however the folks in the foreground appear white-skinned and thus are not pygmies. Thus, it is safe to say that the folks in the background to the left are (at least being depicted as) over 7' tall.
Just after, you missed that all the female archers have had their left breast surgically reduced in size to facilitate archery. The surgery is depicted in the bottom-left. This is what we are told about the "Amazons" of allegedly 1000s of years ago. Fomenko's narrative explains this anomaly. Everything which you perceive as having happened 1000s of years ago happened in the last 1000 years. Everything before 1000 years ago is a mystery.
Regarding cannons, I've seen many videos of them working splendidly.

Ya know , In some Native America Indian tribes , well , I've heard Clifford Mahooty say ... " We have come to trust our memories more than "history" ". Because depending on who wrote that history , it is tainted by whoever writes it cuz they add their own perspective &/or agenda... to it.

You will be surprised when you go to TANZANIA the oldest town called Kilwa kisiwani. Zanzibar is not the oldest town . There are domes of building they used to build the concrete slab by using limestone.

Thanks for sharing. I googled the town you mentioned. Africa was littered with forts and castles. It was an active, advance, and thriving continent.
