the water park features are literally the biggest selling point for me besides being able to play/build with my friends! I hope the management has gotten updated as well as I currently cannot stand the management features in planet coaster.
Shared saves will be so nice for people who aren’t good at certain things like if you are good at making fun coasters but bad at decorating them your friend can help you
I'm kind of excited for the Mythological theme. I'm just thinking luxurious Grecian bath house with greek myth themed rollercoasters zooming overhead. Viking theme is just...what?... Super disappointing that it will be lacking basics like pirate and fairytale, and agree it means they're just selling it to us. Hopefully the viking and mythological themes will give us enough basic pieces to not be boxed in by those themes.
I'm so over joyed and excited for PC2!!! As I said in Rudi's video, I really do hope they add weather, temp, and seasons to the game that affects the guests and rides ingame. For example if there's a thunderstorm no one is allowed on any rides. If it's cold/snowing no one will use the water rides, waterslides, and pools. When it's hot they will want to utilize those. I would also like to see life guards operating the slides instead of regular ride operators.

Really surprised that the pirates theme wasn't BG in leu of the mythology theme, but maybe marketing thought a pirates would outsell mythology dlc. I do hope their dlc is bigger than what is available in BG for PC1 and not just an up-sale to help paradox get out of the hole they are in. Regardless, I look forward to seeing all the build-tubers videos on it.

i feel the themes are all more related to the water stuff, like they are really going hard on the whole pool aspect of the. all of them bar teh base one are all costal places
no mention of a Polynesian theme, but it looks like there is quite a few displayed in the trailer (hibiscus flowers, Tikis, bamboo, etc.), unless those are part of the aquatic theme....but they seem very different to me.
The only thing missing from this game is free roam multiplayer online mode. where multiple people can join random parks at the same time say (1-10) or (10-20) people in one park and walk around & go on the coasters and rides in each others parks. This would be next level🙌🏻💯. never the less i so can’t wait for Planet Coaster 2! i need some peoples Xbox one gamer-tags to play with people ☺️
I'm wondering if they'll be using a different or upgraded game engine. I believe Cobra is their own engine if I'm not mistaken and while i love how the current one looks and how smoothly it plays with smaller parks, it does start to lag awfully bad the more your park grows. Even on monster PC's. I would love to see this addressed
This game has to face the classic sequel threat. To be so small and random on content compared to it's predecessor + DLCs that it may feel like a full priced DLC itself. I really hope they provide enough stuff from the beginning, but not having the classical themes in there is gonna weigh too. Dude, I've already made a million pirate and medieval parks, but that's because I LOVE THEM. I want to make parks inspired by what I've seen on the real ones.
As a huge theme park enthusiast, I noticed that they included the like surfboard coster model, which is only a few years old at this point and only one or two (from my knowledge) currently exist. It's such an odd coaster choice to include as it's a very very new model but it's very welcomed!

Didnt even know there was a Planet Coaster 2 coming I allways wanted there to be a sequel. This video is the first time I heard about it and Im definitely gona check it out. Lets hope it doesnt disappoint like some sequels nowadays but all they have to do is make what was already great even better so my hopes are high.
Im also excited for the graphics engine. Finally, building interiors might not be lit up anymore. I didnt like how light would just pass through roofs in the first game. They fixed it in Planet Zoo though. Dark rides in the first game would have to be viewed in nighttime, or be covered by thick terrain which i didnt like
I am a PZ player. I had so looked forward to finally having a new zoo game after playing zoo tycoon for many, many years. But the pathing system makes me rage quite. I don't know how you fuck up something so simple to the point where it makes so many people angry about it. I wish they would fix that in PZ.
I used to consider myself an enthusiast but then I realized how terrible the roller coaster enthusiast community is to eachother. And I realized I don’t want anything to do with the tag of enthusiast. I just love rollercoasters.

all i care about is tmtk and the pc1 dlc pieces (at least some of them) also i highly doubt they will get rid of the old themes because they are just basic themes you are gonna expect from a theme park game you cant get rid of the fairytale theme thats just not how it works
This obviously doesn’t confirm it but I think it’d be funny if PZ2’s main draw would be full aquatics or something with water as Planet coasters big new thing is water parks and JWE2’s big new thing was Lagoons and aquatics and it would just complete the trilogy of frontier sequels focusing on water. 😂

Scalling is now a "huge" feature. A feature that most likely was already a feature in their own engine that now they allows you to use it... Shared saves... Amazing... "Insanely helpful" for about 1% of the playerbase. Pathing system... Could have been an update to the original game... but can't charge full AAA price for that I guess. Water parks are cool but a while new game for it? Can't be bother watching the rest of the video. Anyone buying this and supporting this type of "sequel" is insane. Frontier is just greedy and creatively bankrupt if they can't come up with new games and instead selling slightly updated games as sequels. This is worse than Ubisoft and AC games. At least you get a whole new maps and a time period to explore... This is just an update for a AAA price.
I can see Planet Zoo 2 with more aquatic options.

Looks absolutely amazing. Especially the customising coasters and flat rides with scenery sounds great.

I hope they have more Ground Textures, like in Planet Zoo. I want my high grass and many different concrete textures
agreed, grass in base game is kind of boring and you have to do your best to hide it as there isn’t any real grass
