Now is it worth a ton of money no, but how many times do you find serials starting with 9’s. Also, super cool that you found a silver certificate in circulation! Thanks for the heads up on that note, you are right that finding a 9 with 3 or more zeros afterward do not show up often so even though it doesn't have any value above face value I will be keeping it just because it is cool looking. Have a great weekend my friend. GD
I save a lot of star notes, quads, double and triple number bookends, and just random numbers that speak to me. Like you I enjoy collecting at face value and absolutely collect what you like to collect. I use several different binders, a few are designed for currency that family members gave me as gifts but I also use several 3 ring binders with BCW currency pages that I store the lesser notes in. If you go that route just know that those pages are not archival safe so you need to place the note in a light weight archival sleeve first and then into the page. BCW makes and carries both
