3 tomatoes, chopped
1-2 cloves garlic (optional)

1 teaspoon oil (preferably sesame or mustard oil)
1 teaspoon mustard seeds (for tempering)
3 spoons tamrind pulp

Taste the chutney and adjust the salt or green chilies as needed.
4. **Serving**:
