I have been working with Druz and got many friends. They keep very strong relationships and you can be very close with them for business and other social activities. Whenever they sit with Cristian, they say we are not Muslims and they do not accept complete part of Quran. Whenever they deal with Muslims, they mention that they are part of Muslims. I have this experience for more than one occasions. I love their dealings when we compare to other white Arabs.

I can’t speak on behalf of all Druze but the ones in the diaspora especially the teenagers call themselves Druze but basically have the beliefs of the community they are in. If they are in a Muslim community in the US or Europe, they say they’re Druze but are basically Muslim. If they are in Christian communities like Latin America they also say they’re Druze but are basically Christian. The only Druze I met who are actual Druze are the ones in the Middle East especially if they are from a more rural area as this effect is happening to even the Druze in cities. It seems like a religion that is too secretive is difficult to maintain. The only secretive religion that I do see still widely practiced is Alawite religion but it’s much less secretive than Druze.

Can't understand why they kept secret of the doctrine and from who?? religion should be taught openly and to understand the core of the belief. Otherwise its only invite the uncertainty plus clouding the mind to the truth
