Another wonderful video, perfect blend of information, history, wit and beautiful photography and video all put together in the most entertaining of packages. Bravo!👏🏻
Awww. What a lovely message, thank you. We’d like to take some responsibility for your viewer numbers increasing as we tell so many people about this channel. We eagerly await every episode. Send our love to your lovely wife. Her comments are priceless. Please get the QA video out asap as we’re on her in a few weeks. Thanks again from Midhurst!
@swjumbo747 That's so kind of you to recommend our channel, thank you. I shall pass on your message to my wife. I'm sorry to say my Queen Anne video won't be out until the end of this month. It takes me a couple of weeks to make each episode. I've done the rough edit and producing, but we're on Virgin Voyages shortly and that is preventing me finishing QA, until we get back from that trip.
Another beautifully put together video Bill. We really appreciate the effort that you put into the editing and construction of your content. We know how much work this takes. We are looking forward to your take on Queen Anne. Keep up the great work. Lisa & Giles.
Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words. If you have a late departure from Port, then stay later in Rome, and catch the train back to Civitavecchia. A fun night time district to wine and dine in Rome is Trastevere
For seasoned travelers the best way would be to take the local train to and from Rome, which takes about an hour 20 minutes. They're about half an hour in between, but be aware that they're usually allocated at the furthest end of Roma Termini train station and there's some airport level walking from the entrance gate. Cheap but you should always give yourself plenty of time to get back to ship.
I enjoy your content and your unique presentation. I don't always have time to watch your longer vlogs, but i do appreciate all the information given. Thank you
Hi there, we bought the 'Skip the line, Priority Access Tickets' which is the way to go, as it avoided all the lines and gave instant access to the Colosseum, saving about 1 hour. Here is the link that: gyg.me/VhEQ1xZO
Nice video, very informative. Done Rome a few times, too overrated and crowded for me, but those poor horses.. terrible 😢 they shouldn’t be in those streets they belong to the fields.. they were way too underweight for those carriages and in that heat. I don’t understand how ppl can still go and do these rides.. awful
Good you are doing one for this year, because next year will be a disaster with the Jubilee going on. I canceled my Italy vacation. It was scheduled for the week of Easter 2025. 😁
Hi, certainly next year will be a very busy one, in Rome with the Jubilee. They are anticipating 25million influx of visitors and pilgrims through out 2025! Coming by cruise ship may be the only practical way, as all the hotels will be packed and sold out!
But I _like_ tarts..... I won't go into a church as I'm afraid I will burst into flames. Kidding, kidding. It's the church that might burst into flames.
Oh the crowds , my idea of hell. Such beautiful places being destroyed by mass tourism. Make the most of it Bill because saturation point is very close and the authorities will surely restrict the amount of people entering these places. Give me a deserted beach in Menorca , in the winter , when all the tourists have gone😊😊
If you enjoyed the video, or have any thoughts, please do leave a comment, we always love to hear from you!

So kind, thanks very much Lisa and Giles.
Queen Anne videos coming out in a few weeks!
Very valuable info - especially the part about port to city transfer options. Thanks so much for sharing this, it's going to be extremely helpful.🙂
Hi there, great to hear from you. So glad it has been helpful!
Well done Bill, another great well-produced video. Your visuals are amazing.
😎I've been through Rome a couple of times, but still learned a lot.
“Honey wake up Ritzy just dropped!”
Love your content ❤
Thank you so much for watching 😊
We really enjoy your videos and really excited that you’re in this fabulous city. Great to see your audience numbers growing, and rightly so!
Happy Sunday evening to you! Thank you very much. Haven't heard from you for a little bit, so absolutely delighted you're still with us!
This was the best video! You two are adorable and funny! Question- what if I don’t have to be back to the ship until 9pm 🚢 thank you!

Thank you very much for that insight
From port to train… should I walk 30 mins ?
Another great travel video, thanks for posting.
You're welcome, thanks very much!

Thank you so much 😊
You have such a fun personality!! Thank you!!
Very kind of you to say, thank you
Great Video , very informative 😊
Thank you so much!
Oh god, I can't wait for the queen Anne review.
Do you reckon I'm going to be quite harsh?!
did you use the hop on off bus for your 2 days in Rome?
Yes, the hop on hop off bus is very useful. The attractions in Rome are quite spread out, and the buses take the weight off your feet!
Is there a need for local currency or did everywhere take credit card?
We had a few Euros for occasional use, but the vast majority of the time we used cards
Smartass here! No Amaretto in Tiramisu, its Marsala! 😁
I shall advise my wife immediately 🤣
@@ritzytravelguide 😅 I'm not sure if it's a good idea... 🥶 Tell it was me! 😬
Good plan!
Did they sell the postcards with postage on it already?
We went to the Post Office
What tickets did you have for the Colosseum? It looks like you weren’t part of a group tour. Where did you get the tickets?

Best Gelato we had this spring, believe it or not was in Barcelona, better than Italy.
Wow, do you remember the name of the outlet?
@@ritzytravelguide my daughter says OGGI gelato
I'll try it next time, thank you

PANTHEON???
Ran out of time for that!
Do you handle editing yourself or hired someone? I’m an editor and would love to discuss, if you’re interested
