I don't own a car but if I did I think it would have to be a Jaguar. I have NEVER seen an ugly one. Even the extremely dilapidated one in the fab film "Withnail and I" could not hide its beauty.
Yes they are beautiful a couple of years ago I owned a 2004 XJ8 and in 1971 I test drove a 1953 2 door couple XK120 coupe that needed the transmission work and ended up buying a 1967 Pontiac GTO
Impossible to film every car I’m afraid, but does indeed sound good. My other camera might have caught it: th-cam.com/video/WHPZDSSBntY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=t9jrsDSOrKEuB5tv
My favourite was the Mk1 or 3.4 saloon as it was known. Pity you couldn’t spend more time looking at the classics. Look carefully. There was one in camera view while passing the cars
I defy anyone to find an ugly car in that collection. What a beautiful array of design elegance. I was lucky enough to work for the Jag for ten mercurial years. Still find it hard to believe now, nearly 30 years later..
I forgot to say in 1971 an officer on my USA WWII destroyer bought a 1971 XKE brand new that was waiting for him when we pulled in port Mayport Florida
Has there ever been an ugly Jaguar? My first was a Series 1.5 E-Type in the early '70s, an '84 XJ-S in the early '90s, currently own a '06 XJ8 4.2 VDP LWB and a '16 F-Type 3.0 S coupe with manual transmission. I am saddened by Jaguar's going to all electric in the future, I will never be tempted by one of those. Listening to the dentist's drill whine of that electric Jaguar going by only reenforces my distaste for that decision.
You know, I asked the exact same question at the show! There are some more decisive designs in the history - S-Type for example - but on the whole, they’ve always made a stylish car.
Beautiful cars everyone of them, but... and theirs always a but, every video i have seen from beaulieu seems to highlight the f type or mk2,. E type..... X300 or X308, is largley over looked along with the other xj models of the more modern era. saying that i enjoyed your content, look forward to next years meet.
Music choice is very difficult. I’ve used lots of different styles over the years, the more upbeat and modern pieces gaining more criticism than these classical pieces. I try to choose music that reflects the mood of the day. Entry from my POV felt distinguished and characterful, the woodwind piece feeling like lots of small pieces coming together, with the piano piece focusing on the individual cars - the single key notes reflecting that. I always try to find the right piece but music is very, very difficult to find
jaguars and no Mark 9 ? Or SS 100 ? Too many newer cars and SUV’s where are the beautiful cars of the pass ? A new jaguar looks just like another car today thank God for the 120, 140 and XKE and those beautiful Mark 2s
@@OurTim I’m not suggesting for one moment that the content is down to you, of course it isn’t, but be fair, surely somebody could have brought one of those magnificent motors to the show !
What is so sad is that Jaguar are dumb enough to go all electric, that is the END of Jaguar, all you environmental people do not realize that that to produce and maintain EV causes MORE pollution than a petrol car(where do you think electricity comes from ?). AND when there is a battery problem it will cost more than the car is worth to replace it, AND in an accident it is almost impossible to extinguish, plus here in the USA HOA's (Home Owners Association) are banning you parking your EV in the garage because fire risk.
Simply JAGUAR.....,Simply THE BEST!!!!❤❤❤❤Thank you for sharing this video!!!

The video's first part is a little somber, your music almost suggests a last hurrah

I like the music😊
diameler double six
The knock offs stick out to far to fit inside spats. So only steel wheeled cars have them.
That’s it! I knew it was something along those lines! I was running on fumes at that point in the day!
