I bought a full bottle without sampling and used only 4 sprays from it very flowery imo but got it because I'm kind of a collector and not sure about this one especially for the price🤯

Reflection smells very well, but it has notes similar to Le Male and the majority of people will think you wear Le Male, because the brain tries to connect a stimulus with something known, and if something is well known in world of perfumery it is Le Male.
To sum up, people don't get used to niche fragances or subtle smells is going to think you are wearing Le Male when you have paid 300 $ for a top fragance.
I am not going to say there is no similarity to Le Mald, but it does not smell like Le Male. No one would mistake you for Le Male. It smells more like Powder White Florals that are somehow masculine.

@@armandoarellano9327 Le Male is a classic fragrance with enormous success in the market, very recognizable for many people. Then, it won't give uniqueness to you. However, the smell and the performance are great. And Reflection smells similar to Le Male in the drydown, but I have to recognize the ingredients of Reflection are much better than Le Male and an aficionado to perfumes can detect the difference. But, according to my experience, the most of people don't. If you personally want to enjoy the quality of Amouge and its different nuances, Reflection is a good option, but if you are thinking about compliments, they are similar with Reflection and Le Male, because a lot of people will guess you are wearing Le Male in both cases.

Totally off topic here, but has anyone noticed how much Amouage Reflection Man has changed or is it just me?
The year before last I bought a few 2ml samples and was blown away by how rich and punchy it smelled, but I bought a 100ml bottle and it smelled similar, but without the sparkly punch. So I bought another 2ml sample online to compare and it smelled even worse.
I really want to get another bottle of the original I fell in love with, but I don't want to spend another £210 if it's going to smell like the last few I've had. Any help will be appreciated!

Makes them more money, they save on the (relatively) expensive oil and rely on the the fragrances reputation to sell more
I have a decant of one of the newer, supposedly reformulated patches and I have to say that I was blown away by the performence, etc. of it. You might have gotten a decant with fake juice!
where did you buy it?! that is a huge factor. unfortunately, there are a lot of counterfeits, even on Amazon. It is absolutely bizarre nowadays.
I bought mine 5 days ago in a local perfumery and it is just as incredible as 4-5 years ago. The projectory and sillage is beyond what I wanted. A beast.

Ultra Male by Jean Paul Gaultier has got me the most compliments, channel Alure Sport use to smell good but not anymore
