one thing to consider those of you who might be watching thinking of maybe getting this APU 5600G, the build in the video is what they wanted, so KL Gamers built it the way they wanted.
so should those of you watching build it this way, well that all depends but there are a few things you need to be aware. the Ryzen 5600G only supports PCi gen3, and the B550 motherboard chipset is PCi gen 4. so if you wanna get the most out of the Ryzen 5600G, ill give you a build example you can maybe think about. this will also include the 5600X.
build 1 Example
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
motherboard Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming II or MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II
Graphics, Nvidia GTX 1660 Super
powersupply, they recommend 450 or better. get a 600 watt for better headroom & efficiency
a 1TB 2.5 Sata SSD or 1TB M.2 NVME SSD, make sure the M.2 is gen3x4 if you go with that.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 16gb kit, you could get a 3600mhz 16gb kit
you could figure out a case for yourself, and that's build 1.
build 2 Example
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
motherboard, MSI B550M Pro VDH Wifi or Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2
Graphics, Radeon RX 6600 or RTX 3060
powersupply, they recommend 450 with the 6600 but 500 for the 3060, so get a 650 watt.
whatever you prefer to use as a boot drive and the other for storage, if i was to give one small advice don't go less than 500 gb on a SSD these days. Windows takes up alot of Space, but even if you prefer a separate drive for main storage, your boot drive should atleast be 500.
ok so those are the two examples, but you might notice a few differences, well that's because the 5600X supports PCi gen 4, and the B550 motherboard chipset is gen4.
now does it really make a difference, yes and no, the 5600G will run on a B550 motherboard, but since it's limited to PCi gen3, it will only run at gen3, therefore you might get a little less performance. that's why i recommended B450 since most B450 motherboards are gen 3, therefore you won't get any bottlenecks with the 5600G.
no there is one downside about it which is why i included the 5600X, because i feel like that's the better route to go. alot of modern graphics cards today are gen 4, but the gtx 1660 is not, it's gen3 just like the 5600G.

Poor decision using the excellent AMD Ryzen 5 5600G then using the GTX-1050 ti GPU which has graphic performance that is actually WORSE than the built in Vega graphics the 5600G has. The internal IGP easily matches and often exceeds the performance of the GTX 1650. Spending a little more on 32GB of Ram and using a Modular Power supply would have been more affordable, better perfomance & easier to assemble.

I like processors with onboard video. But this hardware crisis is sad people are having to use 1050 ti in 2021.
Sad. But fortunately, most people can afford 1060 or 1070 from second hand market. These cards have some good specs.

@@KLGamers Hi, I have just built my pc with ryzen 5 5600g with no gpu and it is an apu based build. I have installed everything correctly including the 24 pin motherboard connector and the 8-pin cpu connector. I have installed all the case cables including the power, reset and power led switches. Yet, there is absolutely nothing and the pc won't power on. The fans connected to the power supply with a molex connector won't spin up either. I have tried everything yet my pc wouldn't POST. Can you suggest a possible solution?

Good point, where i live at the moment the 5600g is 20% cheaper than the 5600x, with only a performance loss of something like 3%

The 5600x isn't much more expensive than the 5600g, but it's more powerful... And the 1050ti is not much more powerful than the built-in 5600g video core... I mean, in this assembly, money was wasted on video cards.
the 1050ti costs a lot more than the price difference between 5600x and 5600g
And in general, you have a strange choice of components - it's more beautiful to try to select one manufacturer
Bottleneck is more than 15% at 1080p gaming means the card is too weak for this processsor and CPU will not work at its full capacity..

5600g+1050ti < powerfull i5 11400-11600-10700F/ R7 3700X + almost same quadro T600 (1650mobile) for work quadro to x3 times faster also it will save your money against old 1050 here and now
