Is this a better alternative in 2023 than say VS Code and a browser?I havent touched DW since, like, 2008 and it wasn't awesome then. Curious if DW is actually a viable professional developer tool in the modern age.

Nah it is not viable. Very outdated and doesn't offer anything that makes it worth using.
Used to be the king of web dev ide but it hasnt changed since adobe brought it from marcomedia lol
