- We always do our best to care for our animals and are shocked someone would think we are cruel. Docking sheep tails is a necessity for sanitary reasons, today we try to let everyone know why this is important. We also get some work done on our barn stall and Cassie announces what she is hatching next!

I follow a sheep farmer in Ontario who docks the lambs' tails when they're just a few days old when she puts them into the system. Their umbilical cords are dipped earlier, when they're a day or less old. From what I can see, the docking is a painless process for the lambs. Your little Wednesday is just adorable!!
i follow Sandi as wel ...she is a super person and caring farmer
I follow Sandi also. Love her channel.
I follow that northern farmer, too. Lots of experience with all kinds of situations and would be super helpful and friendly if you guys ever have a situation.
Sandi Brock on TH-cam. Great sheep farmer to follow!
I watch Sandi Brock too. CASSIE anything you need to know about sheep, she's your person
What? People need to get off their high horse, so ridiculous. Y'all are great and provide a wonderful loving home to all your animals.
Trying to educate those who don’t know 👍🏼
Please tell Ranger he did a fantastic job on he’s video, I am so proud of him like an internet uncle……keep it up bud…God bless you !
It
Wendy’s so cute
Beautiful animals that are blessed to have the Walkers as their "parents."
Without docking their tails you would have a major dingleberry problem. Your animals are fine and the kids are great.
Oh my goodness! I’m so tired of keyboard know it alls! I don’t comment as often as I used to because of the negativity. You guys care so much for your farm animals. You certainly live up to the fact that God entrusted us with their care. Tails most certainly need to be docked (regardless of how you do it) because it otherwise becomes a health hazard for the sheep. Ughhhh, these people are frustrating! You guys keep doing what you are doing. You and your beautiful children are always in my prayers! Have a truly blessed day!
You explained to everyone why it's done. Are people really that dense. They sure know nothing about farm animals. Probably a Peta person. Be sure to block those kind.❤❤❤😊
you hear this from people who are against people who do domerman’s etc tails and ears too. this is a lovely family who loves all their animals as you can tell!
All your animals looked very healthy and well fed. Love the donkeys!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
So glad to see you band the tail instead of cutting it off. Thank You!😁
Wednesday is absolutely adorable. I love the goats and donkeys too❤❤
FYI: Lone Rock Longhorns is trying to get 30k subs.❤😊
Chad & Rae bought some beautiful longhorns from them. 🎉
Ignore it he trolls. Keep pushing forward. Ts&,Ps.
Thanks for sharing have a wonderful week Gary and Cassie stay safe
Your donkeys take their snackies so gentle. When we give our dogs their treats the boy is very ruff! The girls are gentle. We’ve been working on him though ❤
Cassie, "Here I Am, Signed Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours!" ❤
I wish people would research stuff before running off at the mouth. Y’all never show any kind of neglect or abuse on the farm so that had to be spammers. The animals are so cute. The donkeys are so fun. Can’t wait to see you hatch more babies 💕🌹💕
LOVED the new intro!! So beautiful, and love the music too! :)
It’s so peaceful walking down in the pasture and videoing
I just saw Ranger's podcast. The first ive seen. He did pretty good for just starting out on his own. The comments were shut off so I couldnt tell him.
They will always be off 👍🏼 thank you!
I also watched Rangers video. I loved it. It was so cool seeing the farm from his point of view. Can't wait to see more videos.
Ranger did great, good idea to have the comments off
God bless you all and thank you for sharing everything.
God Bless you Cassie
Ranger did a fantastic job! I was pleasantly surprised to see him! You’re already a pro, Great Job!
Your animals are beautiful. You do a great job taking care of them. Wednesday is so precious, can’t wait to see the baby donkeys. 😁 God Bless You All! ❤️
Bless you Cassie, i heard you sneeze. Another fun day on the farm. Garry, i miss seeing Geonermo. ❤ ❤ 😊
Wednesday is so cute and tiny. Great to see Cassie around the farm again. Yea, more chicks to hatch. 😊💞
Love the lambs! Glad you are keeping a goat!
My granddaughters birthday is next month and her theme for her party is “Wednesday” from the Adams family.. I’m not much for it to be a lot of the color black, but I’m sure her mom is going to make the party awesome.
You two are such great examples! ❤❤🎉😊
I had asked several weeks ago for prayers for the family of Ellie Carder from Troy, Ohio as she had gone missing. More prayers are needed for her family and friends and our community as she was found deceased this afternoon in the Miami River. Tia
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Welcome to the Howdy God Bless you and your Family and your Fur Babies ✌️💜🙏
I laugh everytime Adler from Doss Farms says 'Welcome to Howdy!!😅
You two are such a blessed couple, thanks for sharing; the intro was fantastic! Love and prayers 😇💜
You all take great care of all your animals
Absolutely!!!
No he lets calfs die for no reason to lazy to go check on them
Elsewhere in utube land, a woman is scrambling each goose egg (@~3chicken eggs) then putting each scrambled egg into small plastic bags and freezing for winter baking. The richer eggs are great for baking and texture issues related to freezing dissappear in the batters.
Loved the new intro with the cows
All yur animals are very well taken care of 24/7 seven days a week! It makes me so mad and i want to smack them when people want to talk crap knowing it's not right! They need to open their eye's and look into things their self before throwing out accusations like that for sure!! I think their little tails are cute but i also understand why they are docked! That looks great you two! Thanks for sharing!
CASSIE YOURE LOOKING AMAZING THE LIFE STYLE CHANGES ARE NOTICEABLE! ❤
I love watching the Baby Doll sheep. I don't want any, but they are adorable. You know the people who trap use the wool to hold the bait. Brandon said he just bought some for theirs. Oklahoma Legislation passed HB 3195. They are going to put meters on our wells! I don't think it's any of their business. We paid to have all of it and paid taxes on all on it as it was being done.
You both did a good job all the animals are looking good all the kids are getting so big
You can fight the tax hike. You need to get an appraisal done by a reputable appraiser. Then look up the rate of tax and see if your numbers match up to theirs. If there's a significant difference like they over valued your property they must make adjustments to be fair or prove their value is correct. Sometimes they must go with the lower value and sometimes it's set to a price midway between the 2 if they didn't have a fair value set.
Love to see baby chicks!! The hatching process is always exciting!! You both work so well as a team. Snacks are always good Gary, especially if you bring Cassie's favorite!! ❤ Love you all!! ❤❤ God bless. 🙏🙏
You go girl!!!!! Hatch a bunch and hopefully you will get 10 hens
Beautiful Chicken’s Cassie, the baby lamb is growing ❤❤❤❤
I love your shelter in the barn, looks fantastic!😊
Y'all always take good care of your animals. All your animals look like they're doing good. Glad you decided to keep Rowdy. The wall in the stalls looks good. GOD bless y'all.
I asked the other day why lambs tails were docked and you answered my question and the answer totally made sense. You definitely don't want an unsanitary condition putting the lamb's health at risk. Wednesday is sooooo cute 😍
Enjoyed the intro. Little Wednesday is so cute, love the name.
‘Farm Fresh’ Hay.
❤😂Fun stuff.😅😊
Farm Fresh 🤠
CASSIE- Brooke, from the Cog Hill channel, mentioned that you need to wait about 2 weeks after taking out the undesired rooster (previously you had a barred rock rooster in there). So you can get a "pure" breed when you go to hatch the eggs.😊
👍🏼
Just love the music and animals only intros love you too of course /grin thx for sharing love and blessings May the Joy of the Lord come and fill our Spirits that we might shine for all to see His Glory
Ranger did a great job on his podcast Good luck Ranger. Love all your animals. But the highlands are my favorite ❤ love all the Walkers too!!
Glad you explained why docking is necessary. 👍. Animals look great. Blessings to WFF 🙏🫶🙏🫶🥰
Hope it helped educate some
I don't think that the docking of the tail is wrong 🤯 So I'm glad that you did it to keep it healthy 😁😄 I love the donkeys because they are so adorable and cute 🥰🥰 They are doing so good 👍 Hard working dogs 🐶💪 Just a little bit tired from all the work 😕 God bless the family 💗💗🙏🙏 Away praying for you 💝🙏
Thanks for explaining about docking tails. To be honest I thought it was cruel also. I thought it was because others did it.
No one talks about the cows very much but I love cows. The all black white face cows are so cute. Also the Dalmatian cows I love. I also like goats I dont know much about sheep but the babies are adorable. I also read sheep milk is very healthy for you.
Ranger did an excellent video yesterday. He is such a good kid. Love your videos.
My dad would take hold of the lambs tail, and as the lamb pulled away dad would find the spot to detach the the tail and swipe it was gone. Hundreds of lambs done that way. Enjoyed your video.
Hi guys 🤗 Cassie I'm glad you're able to help Gary for a lil while. I love the banter between you two.
Ahhh Wednesday is so adorable, she's growing so fast.
Still waiting on a baby donkey 😊
GOD Bless Your Family 🙏🙏🌹
Love 🌻 from Apex NC 💜
The lamb Wednesday is so cute. Love seeing you hatch chicks so this is going to be fun. Nice fence Gary. Enjoyed and thanks. Love y'all
I loved the animals at the begginning. And you all too, Two.
Hey Walkers, I wondered when you would start hatching agian Cassie, LOL. I love seeing the transitions over time in your farm. I love your family God bless you all in a mighty way, and until next time take care.
Gary and Cassie don't worry about what people say y'all take really good care of your fur babies and feather babies. People are just jealousy. If y'all get negative comments block them. I love your videos god bless y'all and your home
Evening. Thanks for the video today. So pleased thing continue to thrive the animals are doing so well love seeing all the animals. Take care God bless 💕🙏
Narrow minded people never understand the benefits to the animals I for one think you are both fantastic people with great knowledge of animals and farming 🇦🇺❤️
Great video! Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
On our new property I spent a lot of time picking up sticks, the next day there was more 🤦♀️😂
Good luck hatching 🐣 the birds. I love the way you care for your animals. Love and prayers for those in need, from NC.
I'm still waiting to see Cassie eat a range cube!
Bless you ! Bless you! Cassie.
Ignore the trolls, you do a great job on farm and family. 😊
Geronimo is a really good looking bull
He’s a looker 😊
We need to get you up to 30k subs too.❤🎉😊
Minnie Pearl says “it’s time to take the tag off of your gate” 😂
If Cassie complains about the color I’ll need to return it 🤣
The consequences of not docking can be disease. The ring used to dock that we use is a medicated one. This is a part of animal husbandry.
I didn’t know that about sheep. It makes sense!❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🇦🇷
Great video what ever you do with the baby goats tails it's probably the best, fence in barn looks great 👍🏼
God Bless you!
The wall looks awesome. Great job .
Honestly so beautiful land. Brings me peace and a smile.
I been waiting for you to say the number of hens out of the 88 chickens that lived. You just said 25 and I had told my Sister I guessed there would be 27 hens. It has been fun watching the saga of 110 eggs. 👍
Enjoyed the video ! Thanks for sharing !
There are several channels with sheep farmer that cut the lambs tails with in the second day. Just clip & snip done & over. People need realize too that some lamb get really dirty & the momma can over clean & damage the lambs.
But your right when telling everyone about the flies laying their eggs in that area, which can be very bad for the lambs.
Keep up the work they look great.
The Walkers are never cruel to each other your children , Or your Animals ❤
Cassie and Gary, enjoyed seeing the different animals. Wednesday is so cute. Thanks for sharing your farm life. Have a good evening.
Team work makes the dream work 👏🏻👏🏻
Bless you Cassie! Bless you again!! Wishing I could hold that adorable Wednesday. Thank you for sharing😁
Ms Cassie - The straight edges with lips on that speed square are whst let you get straight measurements. For example when drawing a straight line across each board, you are aligning the left edge with its lip along the left edge of the board. Thus causes the edge your drawing along to becperpendiculzr to the left edge of the biard.
I have people quite often that asked me different things about lambs and i tell them all i know about Lambs is they are soft and adorable cute. I didn't know their tails get docked I learned something new. In a couple of weeks I will be docking lots of piglets tails.
That is how we did it on the farm in Namibia. They do it that way in South Africa as well. Similar to bull castration, that is how it is done. Keep up the great vids and enjoying all the new projects going on. 👍
Yes, Sandi Brock from Canada raises sheep… learned a lot from her..
That little pen looks great
When Blackberry has her calf she might let you milk her since she is half dairy and very friendly.
Cassie i follow your love for chickens, i love them, i cant have any where i am cause there are dogs here that would eat them, but living on a little farmlet so lots of room for them. I had 4 at my other place, they laid eggs like ive never seen before! I would sit and have a cup of coffee and they would come and sit on me for cuddles, but there was a jealousy problem with one of mybgirls she didn't like my pomeranian dog coming near me, he was great with the chickens, but she would attack him, he tried to run away cause he new he wasn't allowed to fight back, but one day he'd had enough, and they had a full on fight, no one got hurt but i decided enough was enough so i rehomed them, my dog was here first, i no i could have just got rid of the one chicken, but she also protected the other 3 girls. Was a sad day, no one would love them like I did 😢
Love the intro music a the cows
Loved hearing the old country song in the background. Skip a Rope
Yes
Prayers for anyone who needs them 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 love seeing all the animals ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ the fence looks great 😊 ❤❤
Thanks for the catch up! I'm sometimes so busy that I get behind on the videos. The lamb is doing great, and yes, for that breed, tail docking is hygieniclly necessary. Have a great day! 💖💖💖
I haven't heard "Skip A Rope" in about 50 years! Loved it!❤
You have the cutest little lamb, Wednesday you are adorable. Enjoyed the video have a fun day 👍
God Bless you Cassie. 🤧
Love the intro. I enjoy watching your family to me you’re so down to earth people. Tell Ranger he done very good on his video. Love you guys. Take care and stay healthy. God bless
I have Jacobs, I do my tails where the skin on the bottom of the tail meets the wool. That gives them a little stub to wiggle to keep the flies away. Plus it keeps the skin on the vulvas from getting exposed to the sun. I get my sheep sheared in the spring and then they get crutched in the late fall/early winter to keep the bums clean and udders free for lambing. You might need to crutch your babydolls more often since they are so wooly, I've been on the fence about getting a couple babydolls myself, they are so freaking cute😊
Love the baby dolls
Loved the video. Blueberry is tired of her winter coat so she’s going to hang it on the tree for ya! Lol. Loved the stink eyed look the English cow gave you as she told her baby to stay behind the tree! Oh I’m excited to see more chicks hatch, you go Cassie! Nice fencing by the way. When can I move in? Lol. ❤❤
