Came from a 2015 Leon 1.5 FR but was looking for a bigger car, hence came the Cupra Ateca! And got real lucky today! Garage called and said the delivery will come sooner than expected, so only 5 days to wait now!!!
Yeah nice one! I am not sure about the new facelift Cupra Ateca either.. on the pictures and videos it looked not that aggressive as you said, but I saw one once in real (for about 1 second ^^) and I have to say, it looked much better compared to the pictures! Brembo brakes are great!! Great choice. I got the standard brakes ^^.. next time I'll go with the Brembos for sure! @@korlife Here in Belgium, the only Cupra I've seen irl was the one I test driven! 😂 Went to the garage for an Ateca 2.0 FR, but ordered a Cupra after the incredible testride! Gotta say that the new steering wheel in the facelifted model is kinda epic 😁 And will def check out the insta!!
Huge difference between the 2.0 FR and the Cupra right?! :) I had the 1.6 TDI Xcellence for 1 year, upgraded than to the Cupra 🎉 Yes, the new steering wheel looks nice!
Any mods or totally stock Cupra Ateca ? No other exhaust ? No Flapcontrol ? Those shift farts are nice. Get mine on 01.12.2020 🤘🏾 great video quality. Will also drive threw Blankenfelde-Mahlow in December 😜

Only 3 weeks left 🙌🏼 Which one do you get? The all new facelift mode? What spec? :)
As far as you know, is there the infamous Soundaktor even on the Ateca, like the one on the new Leon and Formentor? The sound on this Ateca seems more...natural. On the Leon and on the Formentor is much more fake, resembling a V8 without, of course, being a V8.
True, the all new Formentor and the Leon, both sound a bit “unnatural”.. I think it’s caused by a type of digital sound amplification or something, trying to imitate a V8 Sound :D for what reason ever 🤷🏽♂️ I have to admit, I didn’t have the chance yet to drive the Formentor myself.. but this change soon 🙃 I don’t think there is such a soundactor in the Cupra Ateca (2019). Sounds much better and natural as you said 👍🏼 Although I don’t know about the all new facelift model (2020). A video with the Formentor is coming these days :) so we all can compare the exhaust sounds 🙌🏼
Yeah, it's the aforementioned Soundaktor that VW group sometimes installs on their cars. As far as I know, it's a device that vibrates, it's not an actual speaker, that is located right below the windshield. There are a lot of videos on YT that show how to remove it. And I think that's what I'm going to do on my next Cupra, I can't see the point of that fake and unnatural sound! :P

@@korlife no not yet, I'm waiting for the 245cv petrol, I don't like the PHEV for a couple of reasons..so, hopefully at the beginning of next year :D But I'm 95% sure that it's going to be my next car..

Thanks 🙌🏼 fuel consumption in the city is ~11-12l / 100km.. autobahn ~8-9l don‘t know the ground clearance 😂 I like the engine and the sound of the stelvio, but never had the chance to drive it.. if stelvio, than with the 6cyl engine :)
@@korlife I am very surprised (in a positive way) about the fuel consumption u declared.... i thought it`s even higher...i usually drive 99% out of the city (regular roads and autobahns) anyway- i like to drive sporty (150-160 km per hour on the autobahn...somethimes even more). What do you think the consumption would be, having a `heavy foot`?

Yes! The PHEV is a 1.4 TSI + electric engine right? A bit low key for a "Cupra" for my taste :) You are doing it absolutely right mate! :) Great car!
