The Carpenters’ self-titled 3rd LP, released in May 1971, featured this medley which they first performed live on the Ed Sullivan Show in November 1970.
We pay tribute to one of our favorite songwriters, Burt Bacharach - composer, songwriter, record producer, and pianist - widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th-century popular music.
