Straykids everywhere all around the world means to be the voice for all straykids around the world (stray kids = lost human, ppl wh have a hard time)
their first mini albums, 'I am not', 'I am who' and 'I am you' is finding out you aren't who society wants you to be and going on the journey to finding yourself

straykids songs are either uplifting, comforting or a throwback at the haters who hate them for their noisy sound. Even though the song can sound happy 90% of the time the meaning behind it is not always so
- most stays find comfort in the songs and skz bcz they truly cares about the fandom and have such a good message

One thing I truly love about Stray Kids is that they usually don't keep a single genre for an entire album, they mix and match sometimes within the song (as you noticed before haha) therefore their music is always a surprise. Hope you keep enjoying their music 💕🙌

Yes, he has a thing against shirts it seems… he’s usually in a cropped or untucked top so we regularly get views of his waistline and abs 😂 nobody is complaining though. He’s the leader and main producer and dad of the group who hand picked all his members/children. 🥰
And in concert either he does it himself, or another member does it, but his shirt gets lifted to get an unobstructed view of his abs. The mv Fam is great to watch for a little introduction to each member and Bang Chan's abs😂
They write their own songs (production and lyrics) and they always write about real things MOST of the time. They write about real shit and they aren't afraid to do it!

Racha is a Korean word ( I think) and originally , is a kind of sauce :))) they came up with this name for their team :)) Initially, their production team got the name 3racha because it was consisting of 3 people, then all the sub-units got the “ racha” included in their name eg: danceracha, vocalracha, and so on…
And, if you really like Hyunjin (the goddess), I recommend the song “Red Lights”. It’s only Hyunjin and Bang Chan…but you will die. 😂😂😂

Little art student moment here, idk if you recognized it and didn’t say anything or not but in Back door there’s a reference to a very famous painting « The creation of Adam » you can search it up and watch the mv again afterwards, I think it’s a nice touch lmao.
Also the rap part you really liked in Back door too was by Han and it’s super cool that you noticed him a bit, I think he’s a member that people don’t tend to notice early on much but I honestly fell in love with the way he rap the first time I heard him so you should definitely look out for this :))

You kind of have to get used to not expecting their music style. They cover such a wide range of sounds and genres and themes that you just never know what you're going to get next.
Still highly recommending Lonely Street and Winter Falls for much more vocal-driven songs, if you're interested in that side of them.
Also Lavanter and Youtiful. Also their first takes, especially Slump and Mixtape Oh.

Fun fact, at the 12:30 minute mark the boys all form into positions to match a famous painting by Michelangelo called THE CREATION OF ADAM (google it 😊) as Back Door is filmed in a Museum. So much thought has been put into these music videos. 😊 Also the man you see in the background at the end of Back Door I believe is the security guard who keeps turning off the light switch, as he can't see them there as he isnt authorised personal. Basically we the fans, if we love the music Stray Kids provided in God's Menu, are authorised to then come through the back door. That is the connection with both songs and why the boys keep turning the light switch back on. 😊 If you watch carefully you'll also see the characters from God's Menu also appear in Back Door, like the chefs and the girls etc. So many details to spot! So the characters in from God's Menu crossing over into the Back Door music video is shown at minute 11:16 where you will see the school girls from God's Menu, and at 11:18 where you'll see the chefs from God's Menu (and once again at 11:22) and then at minute 11:20 you'll see the scientists in the background too! So cool yes?!
The security guard turning off the light switch (as he isn't authorised personal and can't see them there) can be seen turning it off at 12:07, with Hyunjin spotting him do it. Felix turns it back on afrerwards. The security guard then turns it back off again at 12:12 and Bang Chan turns it back on afterwards. Hope that helps. 😊

Bc it'll be 40 minutes of you not commenting, just rewinding and sounding like a squirrel. I'd watch that, but do you want it? I'd suggest Hyunjin's "Play with fire" and Lee Know's "Dawn" to react to, so we can see how you deal with movements. You like the sound and the lyrics of Stray Kids, but can you handle the dance? : ) Also all the sounds etc are part of their uniqe production. please YOU HAVE to react to "Levanter" next. it is a really emotional song for the members and the fandom as well, since it's their first song without woojin (a member that left the group, they used to be 9). The vocals in this one are very beautiful and the mv is amazing. u ll discover a new deeper side of stray kids. their discography doesn't consist of "noise" music only. Also u should react to "Lonely St." a very emotional song that hits different. personally one of my favs.
people tend to recommend their most popular songs (for example gods menu, maniac, venom, thunderous, case 143) but honestly they have so many underrated gems and not so popular songs in their discography that i think are better. i love stray kids but these gems hit different yk?

fun fact, the people in the background is real people, They rarely use effects to create backgrounds, stages or things like that. In S class, the fireworks were real actually. If you watch the behind the scenes of the mvs you can cleary see that, i recommend you to watch them if u're curious but also is funny to watch them.

Just a random fact not exactly for SKZ. JYPE has the habit of placing trainees into some of their groups videos either as "extras" or as distinctive figures. In this particular one they have a bunch of them plus some of the girls that are clearly seen wearing school uniforms (same girls are on "God's Menu" M/V) are members of another JYPE Japanese Girl Group (NiziU). SKZ leader Bang Chan appeared back in 2015 in TWICE debut M/V ("Like Ooh Ahh") as an extra zombie on a treadmill while he was still a trainee under the company. The company founder , JYP himself , also has the habit of making silly cameos on some of his Girl Group M/V's. Backdoor for what I know they just took the inspiration of the doors you can see everywhere with the signs "Only authorized personnel only" you can see them in the supermarket, a restaurant, a hotel, they're everywhere and you're kinda curious about what's on the other side.
It's crazy how they made up a whole song about that concept, that idea, they're so talented.
