Woojin has gone on to have a reasonably successful solo career. I don't know what happened but it doesn't matter. Things are for the best with the kids and Woojin both being on the path they were destined for.
Agreed. I wish him the best. SKZ OT8 is the only group I know and certainly am wishing them all my best.
The guy you couldn’t recognize is Woojin, he left the group for "personal reasons" in October of 2019. Stray Kids have been very clear about the fact that they’re 8 members and that "8 is fate" and they don’t want to be associated with Woojin at all.
No one actually knows why he left but when someone wrote an article where they used a 9 member photo last year Chan wasn’t happy about it and even mentioned in a tiktok live stream that "Stray Kids is 8 and have been for a very long time and you should only use group pictures with 8 members" so I think it’s safe to assume they didn’t leave on the best of terms.
Woojin also has a solo career and from what I've heard he's made it clear that he doesn’t want to be associated with Stray Kids either so while I don’t know what happened between them its obvious that they’re much happier where they are right now.
Honestly, they are better going their separate ways. Both their careers are thriving, and with Woojin's leave, we get to hear more of the other members, and he gets to make music the way he wants. It's a win win.
I'm really impressed by how quickly you got their names down! Stray Kids was my intro to kpop and honestly it took me about a month to 100% know their names. Then another few weeks to know their voices. So very impressive you got it down so fast! I don't think anyone would get angry at you for making mistakes about it. Levanter is actually their first song as 8 members and also they got a win after such hard times, so it holds a beautiful and special place in every Stay and Stray kids' members heart.

What i love about Stray Kids is that their hard hitting songs are really bangers and the ballads make you really cry. I would recommend Victory Song, Freeze, Easy, Give me your TMI, Topline for signature Stray Kids sound. Also their Japanese releases are also fireee like All In, Top, Circus. For soft songs i would recommend Silent Cry, Ex, Secret Secret, Blue Print. Hope you get to watch/listen to these songs. ❤ Welcome to Stayville! You’ll never get bored being a Stay and you’ll always be fed with so many contents. 😊

It’s amazing how talented they already were in their pre debut song Hellevator. And to think they produce all of their songs, they are amazing! More Stray Kids please.
You're right, Stray Kids started as 9-members group but Woojin (the vocalist you didn't recognize in Hellevator) left the group in 2019 (so after a year and something since the debut). Because of that Stray Kids has been definitely an 8-members group for much longer than 9-members. Woojin's departure was never really explained, only "personal reasons" were stated and Stray Kids or himself don't talk about it. There are a lot of rumors though (not flattering to him).
To add to that: from what ive heard Skz had a really hard time with the timing of His leaving the group (right before a big album release, Levanter) and they very obviously didn't leave things on good terms. Some stays take a neutral approach to Woojin, some even still support him but a lot feel that it's not right to Support him as a Skz fan. Also Chan talked about "consequences of your actions having fallout" when obviously talking about Woojin, when talking in a live once. Make of that what you will. I don't know what happened but I think it's pretty save to guess that there's no love lost between them.
They have a lot of content. its really hard to keep up with this group because they drop an album and a couple of months later they drop another thing. I lost count on how many things the have drop in just this year. I recommend "Freeze" "Case 143" "Topline" and "The Sound"(its a japanese single).
I love that use so much word play. In venom for example, They say got me got me but it sounds like 거미 in Korean which means spider
I strongly suggest you check out also their dance practice! They're really fire! Domino and Easy will forever be my favourites, also their Halloween ones, like Maniac zombie version and Thunderous vampire version (you can see their silly sides on these two). Enjoy the journey!

💚Stay Phylisbrown1181: The animated creatures, in the beginning, are mythical Korean creatures called Dokkabei. They came to earth & transformed into Stray Kids, hence the blue floating flames. The storyline: The village is holding a talent competition. The Dokkabei decide to come to earth to participate. Since they are the Thunderous Ones (Sorrikun), they are loud & unapologetic about being so. They stick to their principles & will stand against whatever comes their way. In the end, they will be victorious because they ARE SORRIKUN. The song is a diss track for haters. Their songs were called noisy and not well received in their home country of South Korea.
💙A lot of antis said that SKZ music is too loud, too No Easy (noisy) and so on, so SKZ made this track to say "Yes, we are noisy, we are the thunder. We will say, what we have to say and you can't stop us".
🧡"I'm not sorry, I'm dirty". Also the behind the screen MV for this is amazing. That was an actual temple village.
"It's just one day" - yeah, I saw a reaction video of God's Menu and instantly searching for their names and BOOM - I was a baby STAY (fandom name).
Before Stray Kids I only knew BTS and Stray Kids pulled me deep down in their fandom - but I'm so happy, that they found me.

Stray Kids loves Stays (us) as much as we love them. "You Can Stay" "Love Stay" and "Youtiful" are all songs for Stay! Not as hard hitting but very sweet songs!
"Red Lights" is another song i want to say nothing about but i'm sure you'll love! Can't wait for more!

Welcome to Stayville, where we are all down hard for our 8 cuties! It's good that you take time learning their names in your own pace; that way you'll connect with them more! So, Stray Kids have a lot of old 9 member songs, a lot lotlot of 8 member songs and also duos, solos, four-member ones etc. They have so far used over 40 styles of music, most often falling back on their own sound they created themselves. Yes, because almost every song is written and produced by Chan (leader) Changbin (green hair) and Han (cool guy). Yes. Stray Kids are self-producing. All of the songs so far? Written all by them! Naturally they have help too - I'm not saying they are working solo, but there's at least one Stray Kid credited for each Stray Kids song.

7:58 I feel like 3Racha took centerstage a lot early in Stray Kids career. Maybe because they were already established and more knowledgable at that time. I feel especially Lee Know and IN were not heard or seen much at that time. Thankfully that has now changed and especially Lee Know has really found his voice these past couple of years.
If you want to hear the members singing solo you can check out their replay album. No MVs for those songs but I am sure there are lyric videos. Also some members have solo songs with MVs. Seungmin’s Here Always, Changbin’s Streetligt and Fly High and Han’s Close etc to just name a few. There is sooo much content. 😅
There are also unit songs with just a few of the members. Great way to learn the different members. You have Gone Away, Surfin’ and of course Red lights which you will love. 😅 Again, just to name a few.

You’ve done a great job recognizing all the members. Hellevator was like their first song and when there was a 9th member whom they parted ways from. Levantar was their first song as their 8. Terrific suggestions so far. However, one song that seems to be not well known or talked about for reasons beyond my comprehension, is “Hello Stranger”. It is one of my all time favorite songs they have. You will thoroughly enjoy the video too. Put it on your must react list ASAP!

I dont know if someone said it already, but Hellavator was there pre debut song, and they were a part of a survival show during the making. Some of the members got less screen time due to their doing 'bad' in the missions they were tasked to do. It was your angel Hyunjin, IN the youngest, and Lee Know, or Minho is his real name.
So they were purposefully left out during filming but got to still be a part of the song.
I dont recommend the survival show, unless you want to die for these boys because they went through hell and back (ie hellavator).
I'm glad you noticed the lack of some members though. It makes them easier to look out for in the future too.
watched the first part and now this, and i just have to say i'm amazed at how good you are with faces and names! and how fast you can memorize them especially when the boys have different looks (hair, outfits, etc) every comeback.

I love that you noticed the extra member in Hellevator. And yes he left the group as others have said. But a little more insight is Hellevator was made and released before they debuted and so some of the members weren’t as strong vocally yet. And so they changed the “line distribution” for the song. Oh. Yes. I'm going to leave a list I give to baby Stay when they discover Stray Kids. Stray kids do have a story line of sorts. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. Helevator was a song made for the survival show that they went through to prove that they had what it took to survive as a group, and it was made before they even debut. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(Oh. And a side note that might not have been explained to you. When Stray Kids first debut, they were a 9 member group. One person (Woojin) left after a bit over a year & a half. Him leaving created a huge mess because they were preparing for a come back with Levanter & had to push it back to rework everything without him, so we don't really talk about him. To me, he WAS part of SKZ, but is no longer. So even in the old stuff when I see him, I don't really count him except as a guest. But you will see him in older videos. He was present till Double Knot. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career.)

I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. I still highly suggest checking out their album trailers. They started making them into mini movies.
There is also a mini story that covers several albums. It's about a group of school friends who start a film club. Then feelings & drama happen. I'll leave that list too.

I fell in love with Monsta X an Blackpink after i saw a TH-cam-Video about several groups. After that i heard a KPop-Channel on AmazonMusic and added every song I liked, to a playlist. And after a couple of days i realised, that 90% of the songs i added to my list, were from Stray Kids 🥰 so my love for them started and it's getting bigger and stronger with every new song an every little bit, i get to know about them. Woojin left the group kind of in the middle of promoting for the release of Cle:Levanter. That's why he's in the MV for double knot, but not levanter even tho they are on the same album. Nobody knows why and I dont think we ever will. They also at the time had to postpone the release of the album

They have such a wide range. For more of the ballad or more melodic songs, try Secret Secret, Sorry I love You, Scars, Winter Falls, Lonely Street, Ex. For more silly, fun, or upbeat songs, try Case 143, Boxer, Cheese, Awkward Silence, N/S, Christmas Evel. For more of the rhythmic harder ones, try Circus, Get Lit, Superbowl, Superboard, Topline, Freeze, All In, District 9, Ta, Victory Song, Miroh.
Levanter was actually the first song they released after Woojin left in October 2019. When they watch this video now members comment on what a difficult time that was, which is reflected in the vibe of that song and video. The group finally gelled in their concept and sound after he left, though, and Woojin finally has the sort of solo career that suits him (yes he has been acting in several kdramas), so in the long run it was better for all of them. One of the things his departure did for Stray Kids is it inspired them to work hard to include the tastes of all the members, and to make sure that they balance out the time various members have in center for vocals, videos, dances (some members by preference used to or still do tend to stay more in the background). In their later work, they tend to take turns highlighting various members depending on the song and vibe.
You should do a 2023 guide of stray kids to get a better understanding of them ( I love your reactions )❤

Personally, I'd recommend first a guide (2023), they tend to be quite long but believe me, you won't get bored if you choose the right one, then, I'd really like to see your reaction to compilation videos, those are always one of the easiest ways of learning about the members. A performance video I would recommend is Taste Gayo performance .. thats the Danceracha unit from Stray kids which is made of Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know. Its really good and well gets you to know their unique style . As they are the ones who wrote the song mainly Hyunjin.
I also recommend Social Path, Easy, Topline, Case 143 and Red lights .

the thing is with stray kids and woojin. to me woojin used to be my favourite member and ofcourse they went their own ways not on the best terms everyone assumes. the rumors that some say where pretty serious and i respects everyone's opinion on it. as for me im neutral about it. i dont particularly hate him but its not that i am the biggest woojin supporter. i do listen to his songs (not much) and i hope everyone respects me for it that i listen to woojin still ofc! i hope you all have a wonderfull day!

Hello, j'arrive 2 semaines après ta vidéo mais mieux vaut tard que jamais. Désolé, je te fait mon commentaire en français mais la flemme de réfléchir en anglais aujourd'hui. Il y a tellement de sons de Stray Kids qu'on peut te conseiller. Déjà le duo Bang Chan et Hyunjin - Red Light. Le solo Volcano de Han même s'il n'y a pas de MV pour celle ci. Le solo de Changbin - Streetlight. Changbin a aussi fait une collab avec deux rappeurs Thaï, Milli et F Hero et qu'on aime la chanson Mirror Mirror ou pas, le line up rap de Binnie dedans est incroyable. Sinon, tu as le 3Racha, le sous groupe composé de la line up Rap de Straykids (Bang chan, Changbin et Han) le titre Zone est génial.
En MV du groupe que je kiffe tu as My Pace, Case 143, Side Effects, Domino, Time Out (qui est clairement rock) et tellement d'autres sons encore.
En 2024 ils viennent en France normalement. Ils ont fait une performance incroyable au Lollapalooza en Juillet.

Alright. After you do an introduction video. You need to do (in this order) Drive, Red Lights, and Taste. For taste they don't have a mv but you can find and a fancam video of the full dance (please not one particular person) trust. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
