    phenomenal video, been playing frogs since, Jinzo monarch Frogs. As a huge PaleoFrogs player, 9/10!!! This is a SOLID decklist for Paleofrogs, and ive watched every paleofrogs youtube video; this, is by far going to the better video for my frog babies.

    Would love some hints and ideas on how to make this deck playable with the new banlist and what would be placed in or out love the content and seeing somone still keep frogs in the game.im getting into the game more and would love to know how to make this deck stronger now.

      Thank you for the comment! In this current format, you may consider playing floodgate style traps such as Gozen Match and Rivalry of Warlords, as the deck is relatively mono-attribute and type reliant respectively. This helps to further control the pace of the game ensuring you have ample time to setup a back row full of traps or a Toad and Dupe Frog. You may also opt to play Needlebug Nest if including additional Paleo traps, as it helps to improve the deck’s consistency using the paleo effects in the grave to special summon themselves and later overlay into a Toad or Opabinia .

    Really appreciate the structure and clarity in this video. Do you have any tips on what you side deck out of your main deck first? Testing a few hands and I feel like Rise to Full Height is probably the first to go.
    Would Ice Dragon's Prison be better instead of RtFH in main deck? Even if you don't have the banish effect you can still steal from their graveyard to link off or swing.
    I've seen so many different deck lists for Paleo Frogs that I'm constantly bouncing between what feels good (ex: Needlebug versions, Torrential versions, etc).

      Thank you for your comment! We are glad to hear you enjoy the content. Rise to Full Height is fairly situational but proves incredibly powerful if used with a card such as dupe frog and another card you control, to lock your opponent out from being able to attack anything with it’s banish effect in the graveyard. This being said, Ice Dragon’s Prison is an excellent card to apply pressure onto your opponent’s board both on their turn and your own, and we agree this could be swapped in the main deck! Through our testing, the Needlebug Nest version of the deck underperformed, simply because of it relying on chance, and Torrential Tribute is the better option in our opinion against the current meta.

    Nice Deck! What would you swap out 4 the prison lord?

      Thank you for your comment! We have since received our copies of the Lord of the Heavenly Prison and had the most success removing one Reckless Greed, one Transmigration Prophecy and the one copy of Scapegoat. This ensures you still have two copies of each previously mentioned trap card to Trap Trick into if needed or search out via Heavenly Prison’s effect!

    Why no paleo marrela or leancholia and needlebug nest???

    • @TeaCGBreak
      @TeaCGBreak  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comment! We are personally not playing cards like Marella, Leancholia and Needlebug Nest simply because those 8-9 slots can be used for additional power cards like Transmigration Prophecy and Rise to Full Height as well as draw support such as Reckless Greed. This is not to say that Leancholia and Marella are a worse choice, rather if you choose to play those cards there are less opportunities to play cards that may be able to severely stun your opponents plays. Cards like Transmigration Prophecy have the capability to hinder decks like Phantom Knight and Tri-Brigade, reducing the overall material they have available to banish via their effects, and Dimensional Barrier, IO and Solemn Strike help further your ability to control the game complimented with cards like Trap Trick and Reckless Greed to draw into your frog engine as soon as possible. Our testing found the additional Paleo traps were helpful to facilitate your XYZ plays but were lacking in the ability to protect your board and disrupt your opponent’s plays enough to prevent them from ending the duel fairly easily. This list is of course our personal preference when playing the deck and suits our play style, which again does not make our deck the “Be all, end all” for Paleo Frogs!
