MANA- it means Inheritance. But the other meaning of this song is MANANANGGAL meaning a half-monster/human creature. But all in all it is a mythical creature beliefs we Filipinos inherited from our ancestors.their way of reminding children not to go out at night. 😊
The song itself is not literally mean that way it's just a symbolism of humbleness wherever fame takes you don't forget where you from. Like the "mananangal" Filipino mythical creature monster turn the body into half. The other one can fly higher and the half body with legs and 🦶 remain stay on the ground.

The torso to the head part flies while the other part of the body with legs remain on the ground. The manananggal preys on pregnant women. Thats why the song has a scary vibe. Anyway, they compared their journey and success to that of the manananggal that no matter how far they fly, their feet remain on thr ground. For them, they become like beasts that soar while performing. But, like a manananggal, no matter how far they go, they will remain humble and down to earth.
