- This spring has been tough fishing! Weather has just not cooperated lately, but that’s not gonna stop me from trying. Speckled Trout regulations have changed once again…hoping this helps future population #’s. Kept it as real as I could with this one, hope you guys enjoyed the video 🙌

Yeah, it’s been a strange month. Fishing has been slow weather and wind. Has these fish moving up and down no consistency to their pattern. Great video. Keep them coming.
Dude, when you got a topwater hit you wait till you feel the weight of the fish before you set the hook. 9 times ofut of 10 the fish will hook itself when he blows up on it.

When in doubt...Mudbridge with a cast net. catch your own bait and knocker or carolina rig will get u a texas slam....

Where’s mudbridge at bro. I need to get a cast net. I used a knocker rig at the south packery jetty and limited out on sheepshead a few weeks ago. Best fishing I’ve had since I moved here from California.
Fishing this past month has been though gotta keep moving till you find them sometimes you do something you don’t but I’ve caught some big trout, and not caught a damn thing 😂

Gotta use casting reels when using top water … reeling is so much smoother and effortless when working a twitch bait or top water on a bait caster.. good shit tho!
