It seems to be a widespread problem. All the reviews I’ve seen appear to be having the same issue.
Colby Tierney maybe in your area but not where I am at everyone i know that has T-Mobile hates it and leaves. Also rumored merger with Sprint t again another poor quality cell service.

Jeff Shapiro is it T-mobile's fault the watch dropped signal and never picked it back up? You can clearly see in the video she had to cycle LTE off and back on to get back on the network. She was in an area with reception, the watch wasn't recepting.

The quality doesn't have to be superb! Most viewers don't see any difference on their 4,7 inch iPhones! ;)
but some do on their 4k desktop monitors.
PCGamer917 how many people actually watch yt videos in 4K especially when the vids aren't about visual treat even if they have 4K monitors? Also the new go pro has 4K@60fps and won't make her look like a moron.
That battery is my main concern. Only time I see myself using the LTE is when my phone has died

Joannas reviews are always one of the highlights of an Apple Watch release - if the cellular was fixed it actually looks to be doing pretty good

A GoPro otherwise will produce too wideangle footages ( even in Narrow POV ) and it just lack details present in the larger sensor cameras. Well it’s WSJ anyway, they need to be professional. And by using larger sensor cameras, you can have good low-light and good blur, as you can see in every wrist shot.

I love Joanna’s reviews. In terms of watch performance, this is still prerelease software. There will be software updates in the future. I still preordered on launch day. Not getting it until October though.

Hopefully the watch doesn't automatically join unauthenticated wifi networks. I always tell my phone to stay on cellular except for when I'm at home or at a place where I trust the wifi.

This truly is an amazing review video! However, given the cellular version gets fixed I would still recommend the GPS only version. I mean how likely is it really to go out without your phone on a regular basis and in these cases it's always a major downside in terms of battery, the warm development and even the radiation I would say.
Not being able to stream music while on a run really is the only disadvantage.

it's time for series 4.
Its a simple software patch that will prevent the watch from auto connecting to wifi spots that you haven't saved. Is it an over site on apples end? Yes. Is it the end of the world.....lol no. Apple never claimed for the watch to "replace" your iphone. Going into the store to buy food, leave phone in car and have watch, going for a run or w.e leave phone at home and have watch.....going to the office for work....HAVE phone on desk use watch while away from desk. I mean i get its good content to make these videos, but honestly....

If you're going to upcharge the watch by $100 for cellular then it better work.

Do you have to pay per month on a separate contract for the Apple Watch?
harry tate you pay 10$ a month with an approved carrier 🤷♂️
It uses the same contract for your phone and uses the same number it just adds $10
Do you know if I have to buy it associated to the carrier? Could I buy it with cellular and wait until there are more carriers in my country to link the watch with my cell?

Nice testing!! I got my series 2 just over 2 months ago, & it works great! I’m not one to take runs or do any extreme workouts, unless you consider taking care of 30+ dementia & psych patients on a secured unit (many of which are combative etc) a workout lol... & I don’t go anywhere w/out my phone cause I use it for many things the watch can’t do!

Fenix5, waking up with 90% after all night tracking. All day activity, steps, HR, notification tracking, Allways on display. 2hrs of swimming, 2h of runnig with GPS, HR etc etc... going sleep with 84% hello?

No, but can and will you use your watch in the mountains for snowboarding, not breaking it when you accidentally bump against rock walls? Use it while diving? Can you go for a 100K bike ride, or what about an obstacle course with dirty streams and mud without losing a lot of battery life? How about activating all those activities without looking the watch, trackback your routes, auto switch during a triathlon (incl. swimming in the open sea)? My Garmin lasts three to fours days while snowboarding or skiing all day (i.e. for the duration of the piste opening hours).
I have the Garmin Fenix as well because I actually have an "active lifestyle" not this promo bs. Also, let's be honest, how much do you actually use all that stuff? It's not like people that have an Apple watch will not have an iPhone 7, 8 or even an X. A colleague of mine has an Apple watch for a year or so now and besides the occasional glance at a notification, he doesn't do much with it. He tried though but he grabs his phone most of the time cause it's more convenient.
Contactless paying with a watch? Both my CC and debit card have this feature as well and it's free. I don't need to worry about battery life with those cards either.
I'm not "against" this watch but for me and I guess Petr as well, it has a lot of useless features and I prefer the robust build of the Garmin Fenix as well as the activity tracking.

ZVCKm795 The Apple Watch isn‘t there to replace the Phone. Its just a very very helpful Gadget for your Phone and daily life.
Memiss K you’re only even supposed to use it for an hour or two at a time without your phone, it’s not meant to go a full day without the phone, but it seems that it will work in a pinch.
