This is my final Hive video. I want to move onto other things that I have more fun with. This video isn't meant to create any drama but to publicize my experience and the many flaws that the Hive Staff Team has. I enjoyed my time on the team and it allowed me to help others which was what I wanted to do all along. Cheers
Great video finally addressing most of the issues the current staff team has. Wish there would be changes, but as you said, any form of feedback just gets ignored and often leads to unnecessary demotions or staff management not liking you anymore, making your time on the staff team very hard. Sure, we can't blame staff management for this in the first place, as they just get instructions from higher-ups, but the development during the past two years sadly took a sad route, which lead us to today.

Hearing all of this after reading their forums on what it means to be a Helper on the Hive is so bizarre. I really hope things turn around for the Hive Staff, as well wishing you the best in your career.

I was a helper on Hive from January to April 2023. I was banned on Hive for “… killing people at random in murder mystery” (Kimi). Following this I was demoted from helper and unfriended by Holly. I feel that Holly is nice and my ban/demotion was justified. But I will agree with you that Clank can be odd, and there is a clique of those who suck up to them to speed run mod. Along with a few showing off their helper (thinking they are better).
All of the YT ranks commenting and being toxic is really proving your point. This is the community i wanted to be affiliated with? One were the partners are toxic and get away with it, but staff aew punished for seamingly no reason? I think its time for me to find a new server.

glad someone put this out, good job and I hope more people would come out like this... I'm glad I stopped supporting that server years ago and move on to the hypixel because I knew something wasn't right, when people who actually knew things about the server were getting rejected and people who were friends with staff were getting accepted in helpers/mods team, even when they didn't know anything about the server... and it all started when holy joined the team, holy is a scum that I already knew long ago, her boyfriend or ex or whatever is/was a helper, never saw him doing anything but still he got to be one. she would post something sexiest on twitter and get away with it while others aren't even allowed to criticise the team and not end up getting muted for weeks. It also seems like she only accepts people who are linked with lgbtq somehow like she's trying to build a lgbtq community here instead of a staff team full of professionals who actually knows things about the server. and if you're a male, the chances are even slimmer she'd accept your application. I was gonna write an email about all of her dirty work to the staff at higher position but I knew they weren't gonna do anything about that so I never did. also their discord community has become so pathetic under her supervision with all those unprofessional staff members, and then they be getting exposed every now and then which only question you if she's even qualified enough for the post. or they just put a random at lower vage to get the job done. and yeah clank is a... wish I could say what I wanted to say here. anyways, the server is already dying with pathetic people like holy and clank running it, which is a good thing.

This comment was brought to my attention and of course, I wish to respond to you personally regarding what you've mentioned. Firstly, I take no offense to what you have said and I am simply responding to clarify my side of things here. I've always spoken to and treated everyone with equality, putting aside their rank, or anything visually different. The specific instance you have mentioned was an ongoing outburst consisting of multiple users breaking the same rules over and over again, receiving several warnings from myself and other staff members with no change in behavior whatsoever. What I said was true and I will not be taking it back (I have said the same thing on multiple different occasions, whenever I deemed necessary). I will however apologize for the way I phrased it that day, I know I could have done better in that aspect. My intentions as a Helper then were to cool the situation down, not further antagonize myself. Obviously, I am unable to go into any further details about what happened that day as most of it would be classified staff information (as many mutes were handed out) but, my side of things went unnoticed and I was quite unpleasantly deemed the bad person by anyone who glanced at that channel. Not even being the one who punished those users - It mortified me when I received a bunch of backlash for something I never did. Countless pings, telling me to apologize (for muting them); all of which I chose to ignore since I had no interest in adding to the fire and I personally knew I had done nothing wrong. At the end of the day, people will and choose to gossip about others without a care. I do however understand your concern as someone who simply observed the channel while the argument/rule-breaking went down and of course, you had no way of knowing the full story without some sort of staff input. It is always worth keeping in mind that there is always two (or more) sides to a story, whether someone believes/likes it or not. For instances like this, or questions like this; we encourage that users reach out to the Hive's Support team for clarification and understanding on the matter. While they may also be unable to delve into the specifics, it's always worth giving it a shot anyway. Nonetheless, yes I have recently left the staff team due to my own personal reasons. I have some issues with hive banning/muting me. Yes i deserved it, but people say worse things than me all the time and reporting them wont do anything. One time i got muted on an alt and the only "bad" thing i said was "brokie" if i remember correctly. I strongly dislike the hive staff for a multitude of things.
