I personally love the sunlight peaking through behind you and the windy audio 😂 does anybody else agree with me? Or is it just me? 😅
OMG! All 👏The👏Yes👏
The photo that won your heart get my vote……perfect for your yard.
Audio is good…fire is beautiful!
I love the formal and the cottage. I think you would get too bored with just a formal garden. You love color and flowers too much. :)
Don’t worry about your lighting. You look great no matter what. Love the no-hat look today. Yes, a lean-to greenhouse on the side of the shed would fit great. Very inspiring 👍
This is what winters is for dreaming about the next season. I had my notebook in bed with me last night. Love your design!!!
Surprise us with elegant English garden, I believe in you, you can create a beautiful garden❤
I really think your plan is a great use of the space you have. Now that both of you have lived in the space a few years, you know the vibe you want. I like that it will offer year round intrest. Glad the garden wont be identical on both sides. Boxwoods will give it foundation, but it leaves room for flowers, shrubs etc. Excited to watch the design come to life.
We now have a new color, Robbie Green❤
Watching your videos •ALWAYS• gets me pumped for my gardens & planning!
I think brick walkways with grass would elevate your great design...next level.
8:05 you could build those! I have faith! You can do it 😀
10:22am. Beautiful design. Cautionary tale: had a flashback to 1960 when my sweet mama tasked me with shaping a 6 ft hedge that surrounded our front yard. No ladder just me and a kitchen chair. PTSD! Whatever you decide to do- start small or rather, do it in small bits
Wow! That's a REAL master plan. 😊
You need to consider the the view from your kitchen window as is stands the fence with vines will block the vista of the shed. Also you may want to consider other plants instead of boxwood, believe me they are a lot of work in the long term, both pest control and clipping to keep the structure. Having lived with a parterre garden for 20 yrs with both boxwood and lonicera I know! The overall plan is great and with a few tweaks even better. You’ll both have a LOT of work to bring it to fruition but good luck and happy gardening.❤️😎🇫🇷👩🌾
Omg Robbie! Build the greenhouse! Just love your style! Cannot wait to see the transformation 🍃
What a great plan, it will be so beautiful. And I also love the no hat look, your hair looks great.
The audio was fine. Love the garden design idea. Looking forward to see the future progress of this.
Are we going to be privileged enough to watch this beautiful transformation you speak of. Oh my, I look forward to every single video.
I like the next year plans, I get the idea of the vibe your going for in your garden.
We are SO EXCITED about your plan. It will be gorgeous! 🤗
We can’t wait to watch all the videos you’ll create while you’re executing your plan.
🤗🥰🤗
Of course you need a greenhouse!!!!
Presioso👌formal cottage style. I’m loving the vision more and more. Enjoy the weekend dear.
Exciting plans, Robbie. A parterre usually has some symmetry and your shed and chicken coop at the back of the garden, while cute, lack symmetry. Since you like the lattice partition idea, you might consider sectioning off the “back” garden from your parterre garden using lattice. You could remove the current picket fence and arch. It would creat a formal room at the front and an informal room at the back. You could put a new pretty arch connecting the two rooms. Since you already have the lion fountain, maybe a pedestal urn like the Unique Galloway Urn would be pretty for the center of your parterre garden. Whatever you decide, I’m sure it will be pretty.
Dream big, Robbie! I love your ideas and can’t wait to see how your garden evolves! 😍
I’m so excited for the changes you are making in your garden. 🎉. Thanks for sharing and taking us along for the ride ❤
Love the look you are going for… & loving the new cozy spot you chose to chat with us!
That is going to be so pretty!!!
I appreciate your drawing it out. That helped me see it. Excited for you!!!
Love, love, your plan Robbie ♥️♥️‼️ I love the mix of formal structure with cottage informal. I cannot wait to slowly see it take shape 😃. I love the mix of the red of the bricks and the green of the boxwood hedge. I cannot wait to see it😃‼️‼️‼️‼️
Wow. Robbie I can’t wait to see your garden journey. I love your idea. So excited thanks for inspiration
Beautiful plan!
So exciting!
Robbie, check out Danielle at North Lawn flower farm. She bought boxwoods that's already together in a hedge, they are connected together. You just did a trench and sit 5 or so in and your done. I hope this makes since!
Can’t wait to see it come together…😍😍😍😍
Love your plans Robbie, how exciting 🥰
I love your vision. I, too, enjoy planning and designing my garden in the winter months. I like the idea of a secret garden. I could see walking under the Arbor into magical place. I'm looking forward to seeing it. You have a beautiful smile. Thank you for sharing. Keep it up.
Love the obelisks. I definitely think you need 6!
Solid plan Robbie! Would you consider replacing your veggie garden with a lean-to greenhouse attached to the shed? You can use it to grow your veggies and to film.
Love that idea!
I love that idea and say just get rid of the veggies all together. He’s said before they didn’t eat like 90% of what they grew anyways lol
Ps: your hair looked so perfect in this video! Very stylish!
Love the plans! It will give us tons of content to watch while you tackle this project! I think for the plants you love, the plans you picked are perfect! Boxwood and roses❤
Good morning Robby!
oh, Robbie, please come to Florida and design a garden for me!
Love your plans. It will be fun to watch your dreams come to life!
So beautiful! Its what I've been trying to achieve. I love a formal garden.
Oooo exciting. My type of garden!
Nice ideas of what you are wanting, gotta tear our all those walkways will be hard work but once you remove all that’s not staying you can probably get a better picture of what you can/will do. We all will be watching as you get your vision started
Love the vision! Looking forward to seeing how your garden evolves.
I love, love, LOVE your ideas!❤🌿 what would look fabulous for veggie beds would be decorative stone blocks...would give it that French country garden feel and fit right in with your boxwoods and arborvitae..❤🌿
And grass for your dogs and space to run and play
You are so creative. Although I don't comment everyday, I DO watch your videos everyday. Love love the cooking contents as well.
Oh my god, Robbie, I can just see it 💚 I am so excited for you I can't wait. I look so forward to your videos every morning. Thank you for sharing.
Yep. Gorgeous. Inspiring. All the things.
Love your plan! I love boxwoods and the little bit of formality they create. I know that everyone uses pea gravel for a walkway, but for me it creates too much dirt that gets tracked into your house. If you can use flagstones with the pea gravel, it will be cleaner. However, you do you.
Another thing, symmetry is important for a formal garden. Careful measuring and making spaces the same size (rectangles, squares, circles) will add the symmetry. It is a pain to do but in the end, but you will be rewarded. Starting is always the hardest part for me. It will be worth the effort.
So exciting!! “The ‘I hate you tree’” hahahahaha. So funny. Can’t wait to watch the progress.
Love your videos ❤❤❤ thank you
Love, love, love your inspiration.i think it will look amazing. Please don’t give up your dreams Robbie. You are so very talented and you will make your back garden into a showplace!
I can’t hardly wait to follow the journey . Love the plan.
Great job with your sketch, perfectly understandable! I love that look and would love it in my yard. I can’t wait to watch the transformation. You are so talented!
Love it.
So fun! The boxwoods will be gorgeous!
It will look absolutely gorgeous... Funny how my favorite channels change and now you have become my favorite garden channel...🌿🌱🌿
Me too Joyce, he is my favorite!
You are very talented!!! You could surely make money doing this!!! ❤
Your looked great in all of the lighting and the sound was great. 🥰
It will be exciting to watch the progress!!! 😍
Love your inspo photos and plans. Your drawings were easy to understand, great job. I can’t wait to see your transformation. You are very talented! I hope your channel takes off as quickly as Janey’s is, you are a sweetheart and deserve great success!!
Robbie, Love your vision for the cottage garden. Great use of the IPAD for sharing your rough sketch. Keep dreaming. Looking forward to your updates!
Robbie’s garden looks a lot like Kathy’s garden (me). You have pinpointed so many of the things that I would like to do here. You even have a picture of my large fountain that I’ll probably never have. I do have a slightly larger yard than you, but I’m also living in the city with neighbors all around me. I like the idea of your secret little areas where there’s a “surprise inside”.
Robbie!! I LOVE this plan! My hubby likes formal and I like Cottage.. I might use some of your ideas!! Please don’t worry about lighting or audio. We just love seeing your cute face & listening!! Loved seeing Brent in the last one too!! Cannot WAIT to watch you bring this to life!!! Your backyard looks so lovely. I love this time of year! My first David Austin rose is blooming and the garden still looks so pretty!! 😍 .. love your channel!!
Ann Marie
Good morning Robbie!!!💙 Your gonna need alot of boxwoods.
So excited to see the transformation! It’s going to be gorgeous!
You and I have the exact same garden style! I can’t wait to see what you end up doing. I was showing my husband your video so he can see the vibe I want in the garden and he said he wants your jacket. 😀
Your audio and volume are perfect! The background sounds of nature are a soothing addition 😊
For lighting, you always want the sun kind of behind the lens of a camera and not facing the lens in any angle. 😊
We are kindred spirits in taste and garden design! So excited to see what you do next spring! 🌸💖🌸
I like your vision Robbie 💚
I love the idea of the fence and the arched gate with a circular opening ❤
So 26:45 be pulling out most of the plants already in your garden? Especially the shrubs. Love those entrance gates. Great vision. I can't wait to see your vision come alive.
It will be enchanting!
Robbie!! Woohoo!! Congrats 14K wishing you many more blessings to grow your channel. Love your inspiration, we have the same taste so excited to see the process.
So exciting! And I think I understood your plan waaaaaay more when you drew it out. Can’t wait! Thanks for all the good content!!
Love the plans and inspiration photos… I like the idea of the lattice fence… just make the lattice very open so you can see through it more, but still gives the look.
Our inspiration photos are almost identical !!!! Love , love all the ideas ! This part of the process is so much fun !!! 💚 Ps .. check out Linda vaters old videos , her old potager garden with boxwoods was fabulous and done in a very small scale but all the feels !
I was going to suggest the same regarding Linda’s pottage 😊
Loving the vibes of your new garden ❤
Good job with the sketching Robbie! Looking forward 😊
It will be beautiful
Hi Robbie❣️ It’s going to be gorgeous with complete year round beauty. I also think painting the garden shed the same color as the fence would provide a pretty backdrop to your gardens. Its almost like you will have 3 rooms. The first one is your gazebo/entertaining space. The second one is your formal garden. The back room is your romantic farm and vegetable garden. Maybe you should create a dramatic entrance to your back room too in front of the Willow somehow! Or is it too much? I love your hair by the way, tres chic❣️
That's going to be beautiful Robbie. With both your skills I can see it come to fruition🌱
Love your garden design! Can’t wait to see it! 🌸👍🏼
Love your videos you and Jamie and look for yours first although enjoy the other garden videos too, cant wait to follow along with you two, very inspirational to jump into my garden, at the moment designing a small cottage garden in so cal.
From your inspiration list it seems that your semi formal garden is very romantic where there are certain moments in different parts of the garden. Also, just an idea instead of stepping up because of your flat land but have you thought of stepping down into a little room with either an urn or fountain in the middle with boxwood etc. or maybe with the greenhouse like your photo. I also love the green color. The greenhouse is so lovely I think it would look great in your garden giving a bit of a Victorian garden ... so romantic! I can't wait to see your garden developing!!! I'm excited!!!
Love the look making rooms brings a coziness that welcomes you in. ❤
Video is great! Love what you’re doing for your garden♥️♥️
Love your plans.. EXCITED 😆
I cans see a new career for you forming! Can't wait to see all the videos of it coming to life~
This is going to be beautiful! Can’t wait to watch the process. I love how your fence is painted black and becomes a backdrop in your garden. Have you thought about doing that with your shed? It would make the back corner of your garden more of a place to discover, I think.
I love the inspo ❤
I love your plans for the back garden.
Thank you for sharing your process!
That style garden is so relaxing and inspiring.
An octagonal greenhouse would be a dream and truly fit your style. Where would you put a greenhouse? Are you keeping your covered table area?
I loved watching this one. You crack me up! I could tell that you were cold. lol. I love your inspiration. I can't wait to see what it looks like!
Amazing ideas! No matter what it will look amazing. With hot dry windy summers the spider mites may come. They visit my boxwoods every summer, here in Vacaville, zone 9b. I’ve found a great product called Growers Ally Spider Mite Control. It smells great with Rosemary, Clove & Peppermint oils.
The views you used were very pleasant behind you today. The roses on the fence were lovely and the window boxes on the shed are superb! I will be interested in how you plan this design out, because I only have 10 ft by 84 ft to work with and I want to set up my bird bath fountain in a similar way. Wonderful ideas.
It will be fun to see your space evolve! One thought I had was if you’re sitting inside or in the gazebo, the lattice fence might block your view. If I were you I’d want to see all the beauty in the garden as much as possible! Maybe the fence could be short or the lattice could be extra wide so you can still see through some of it? Just a thought! And I was also wondering how many boxwood you’ll need!
Love it!!
It would be nice if you could print these photos and start an inspiration board this winter. That way all your thoughts and notes would be in one place. Call it your "dream board".
