The charger transforms AC to DC to begin with... So no matter how many lemons you use, it won't work that way...

Not true at all. Yes it does change ac to DC, but you can technically charge a phone with enough lemons or potatoes, but it wouldn't charge it more than 1% lol

Nope you need 220 lemons for the charger to work.
@@sc3989 true, and even with 220 lemons it still wouldn't work cause the charger is designed for 220v AC and not DC power. (also this video is so old I don't even remember watching it lol)

actually scientifically I believe if you sprinkle a bit of salt on the watermelon it will start an alkaline reaction that should output a 5v current which would be sufficient for charging most cell phones.

right cut the watermelon in halves like i did with the lemon. Then sprinkle salt all over one side. Leave the other side clean of salt. Then stick one prong in each side

This was really, really dumb of you. A 120 - 220 AC power charger uses a portion of the AC sine wave to grab the required voltage. Lemons would produce a direct current, like a spare battery. The power supply unit won't work and isn't necessary.

U need more tools to be able to use one lemon. I tried this method, didn't believe it would work at all, but it did work on my phone... for like 4 mins.😂 My lazy ass would just go to the store, but if the apocalypse happends.. this could come in hand. 😎
