Some people don't develop a bias until after they really get into their music... well sometimes. And most folks bias as far as Looks is usually the older maknaes. i got disappointed when the first guy said “oh it’s a dude” when jimin came up lanskdbdk every guy says that , saying they look like girls and bashing them when it’s kinda obvious there guys lol also it’s normal for guys to wear makeup in korea but around the end he ended up likeing the song and changed perspective more so that made me happy!! :) also check out more groups please! there are also so many more amazing groups/soloists , here’s a couple (nct127, wayv, ateez, the boyz, oneus, victon, day6, jessi, jaypark, got7, monstaX, exo, itzy, a.c.e, straykids, CL, taemin, jackson wang, verivery )

I would show them ON Kinetic Manifesto. They both like dance you could impress them with Bulletproof2. It's one of their first videos and still one of my favorites. Many people over the years have said that BTS are the Jabberwockies because they are such great dancers.

i can definitely their perspectives are still pretty close minded but i’m happy they enjoyed it. i understand new experiences are always a bit of a shock. i hope you show them a more rap based song and then a more pop song. it would fun to see their reactions to the range of BTS. save me is a much more low scale which i think is good for the fans but for new viewers i think it would cool to see something more hype.

To see BTS development and growth as artists will open up a new world for you. Just so you know, BTS was supposed to be a hip hop group initially (before BigHit CEO decided to make them an Idol group), with two of their three rappers ( RM and Suga) coming onboard with pretty extensive experience from underground hip hop. You mentioned liking hip hop. There has been a lot of debating about who has the best rap line in Kpop and there are many opinions on the subject with super talented Straykids being mentioned many times but when you start considering many different angles and aspects there are to hip hop ( not juts in K-pop but on general level) and listen to objective opinions of passionate, unbiased American "senior" hip hop heads who saw the birth of it, were part of it, and followed it for decades, BTS is getting picked time after time, receiving the crown. BTS earlier material is world apart from Dynamite you started with, sometimes pure hip hop, sometimes soulful, sometimes R&B, sometimes mix and blend of many different styles. MVs can be incredibly satisfying for all newcomers to Kpop with all crazy visuals you don´t see in the West, but if you are in it for music itself, I would gently nudge you towards their live performances. That´s when they really start to shine brightest and separate themselves from the rest in Kpop. Just a small taste from 2014 ( with Jungkook barely 16 back then but already shockingly great) - "Let me know" ( from their album Dark and Wild that many Armies consider their best to date) - link to it in comment below.
