I would love to see Colourpop come out with marbled bronzer that have a hint of pink for cool tones, peach for warm, gold for warm/medium, red for medium and dark, orange for medium and dark, brick for medium olive. Undertone is so important and colourpop has their own lab, so they can easily address the lack of shades that provide the correct undertones for things like bronzer and blush. I think new selections in bronzer and blushes that are multi pigmented in shades that glow, but are not glittery, would appeal to a wide demographic. I'm in my late 40s and have been a fan of Colourpop for several years. I love the brand. I recently noticed that a mature model was used for one of their blush/highlighter quads and I was SO excited to see this! So many brands exclude anyone over the age of 25, so it was nice to see the brand is exclusive and forward thinking! Beauty is for ALL ages!

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking a light bronzer will work if you are pale, but this is not always the case. For instance, Benefits Hoola is actually very yellow toned. I am very cool, fair and have strong pink undertones. It looks odd on me. Not flattering at all. But I can wear a deep bronzer with a red undertone if I sheer it out. Undertone is very important, not just the depth of color. As far as what will work for people, we generally recognize cool, warm and olive. Olive is one of the least talked about, and probably one of the most misunderstood, but all undertones can be cool, warm or olive. I mention this because my daughter is a pale olive and even so called experts will try and color match her as having a warm undertone. Olive undertones are often associated with people of mediterranean or middle eastern ancestory, but olive tones are in many people who are fair, and light. When formulating a foundation, you'd need to have the undertone correct. A foundation that is too yellow can be the proper depth for someone who has a rich undertone, but if she has cool undertones, this isn't the most flattering option. The same attention needs to be given to bronzer. A pale, cool toned person doesn't look yellow after spending a bit of time in the sun. NO. A person with cool undertones will actually be slightly pink and this is why a bronzer with a bit of pink looks so natural. Warm undertones look incredible with a touch of apricot or peach. Undertone is the name of the game and I hope companies step it up this year. More attention has been given to foundations and that is great, but companies can take this further, in my opinion.

Your two favorites are also my two favorites. I always mean to say that I very much appreciate it when you point out shades that are pressed pigments, eye safety warnings, red dye. I have a massive allergic reaction to pigments and red dye. If I wear one, the reaction lasts 4-6 weeks so I am super careful about this. It can also happen to anyone; I wasn't allergic and became allergic just a couple of years ago. Appreciate you Amanda!
It's really nice that they finally release some new colors as well as some older ones ! I have fifteen supershock shadows in my collection and I want to use them before they dry out, I think this formula is very versatile, you can do really quick and easy one shadow looks or add it on top of a more elaborate makeup, it always looks amazing !

GASP i'm so happy bubble bee and tassel are coming back!!! moonwalk has me psyched too, though before now i didn't even know of its existence... i've always been a lil sad whenever i used my rbk supershock thinking how i won't be able to replace it but this looks pretty similar so yay! :) am i the only one who wishes they'd bring back more of the matte supershocks though?! :( those were my favourite finish! side note for anyone interested: i'm not sure technically speaking 'for real' is a "new" shade! as soon as i saw the swatch i was like "omg, is that birthday treat (from 2019)?!" obviously hard to really tell from a screen, but woooo i'm so happy to see this back too!!! ironic it was a free gift at the time, since it's actually my fave super shock of all time

I was wondering if you personally prefer their palettes or the super shocks? I bought quite a few super shocks, but I’m afraid of them drying out. I did buy Duraline Inglot just in case, but I’m wondering how that will work with my oily, hooded lids. Decisions, decisions. I also wear only about 5 shirts. I feel the struggle! Lol! 🤣
I may have to pick up another moonwalk. Mine's pretty old. I love layering it on top of a matte olive green super shock shadow. It looks so pretty and lasts all day. Too bad they don't do matte ones anymore. Would love to try the other shades, but can't deal with the glitter

Ripple was one of my first few before it was discont before and it's a fave of mine. SO quiche is a nice almost taupe family (in my eyes), I should wear it more. There is a buy 3 get 1 free so I'm getting 2 free :). I'm excited to get Bae, Tassel, Silver Lake, Rose Garden (yay more purple), Rooftop Cocktails, abbot kinney, and a weird choice for me, pressed juice. Maybe I just want it to add a little more color to my super shocks when I look at them? It's pretty but I don't wear yellow. I may get it and be like what was I thinking. I love purples & duochromes.
