It's so annoying to hear him say *actual* suits from the MCU don't look "MCU enough" and criticize design elements which are just accurate to the actual suit
I'm gonna be honest, we seriously need more comic-accurate Iron Man armors. They literally have over 70 armors to work with! But the stand-ouf ones would be Extremis, Bleeding Edge, Classic, Neo Classic & Silver Centurion.
Do you think Lego could revisit their Comics line from the past? They could create sets based on huge events in the comics, with lots of minifigures and locations. This would not only be appreciated by comic book enthusiasts but would also be a huge financial success in my opinion.
7:15 I'm confused, this figure wasn't designed by LEGO. The mk 25 codenamed "Striker" originates from Iron Man 3 and was a part of that movie's Iron Legion. It doesn't look like a traditional Iron Man suit because it wasn't. Tony not only specifically built the mk 25 for heavy construction (which is why it came with jackhammer like attachments) but a large majority of the armors created between the mk 7 and mk 42 have uncommon features due to Tony experimenting with designs that would make the armor more efficient.
I love this comment so much as someone who knows a lot of the suits from Iron Man 3 the comments in the video are frustrating me so much. Like the shoulder pad thing??? That armor is supposed to have shoulder pads😭
Look up the Iron Legion from Iron Man 3. You’ll see that some of the suits you called “goofy” or “not stark” such as the Mark 22 and Mark 25 are very accurate to how they appear in the movie, making a few of your criticisms unfair
I know I'm a bit late, but the Lego "Blazer" suit isn't actually accurate to the Mark 22 seen in Iron Man 3. The faceplate is completely different on the movie suit, and the Lego one has a circular Arc Reactor instead of the rectangular one that the movie suit has.
7:06 tf do you mean “it’s doesn’t look like tony’s suit” i get you’re saying that because of the weirdly shaped arc reactor, but maybe don’t say stuff like that if you haven’t looked at official pictures of the suit. Because it 100% has that narrow arc reactor.
The “weird one” is supposed to be based off of the iron man from the original comics. You can tell due to the helmet that that was what they were trying to go for
But it is weird in a good way in my eyes. At first glimpse, it reminded me of the Model 12 with its golden ab section, but when I looked at it more carefully, I thought "Hey, if you color the ab section red, it's the Model 70!". Tbh looks like Lego made a mash-up between the two models, and I genuinely like it
I'd forgive you for not realizing that mark 22 - mark 41 are part of the iron legion from iron man 3 because they only show then at the end of the movie for a fast action scene at night making them hard to see. However, you should look up images of these suits so you can see they are in fact part of the MCU. Blazer and Tazer are technically comic book suits that Lego designed but they took a lot and i mean *A LOT* of inspiration from mark 22 and mark 30 respectively. So much so that they have basically become stand ins for those marks and the visual dictionary calling them that isnt a stretch at all. (I'm honestly surprised why the visual dictionary didnt just call the scuba and space suits mark 37 and 39 since its a very similar thing.) The mark 25 however is through and through an iron man suit and a 1 to 1 recreation of the official images of the suit from the movie. Your conspiracy theory just sounds more like conspiracy than theory. The mark 41 is supposed to look like its framgnented or in segments because thats the whole gimmick of the suit. Perhaps you just have an issue with the original design of the suit itself and not the Lego version? The suit, also known as Bones is a bare minimum suit with attachment points for other armor pieces to fly in and attach to it. Its the prototype for the mark 42(Iron man 3 main suit) and shows the process of how Tony developed the suit to fly and be summoned in individual pieces. Funny enough the Mark 64 is just a comic book suit that happens to be called mark 64 and is not at all part of the MCU. Again, I'd forgive you for not knowing this. You won't know any of this information from simply watching the movie. I drew all of the iron man suits from the MCU so I learned all this from supplementary material. Was still entertained and cried when the silver centurion was only ranked B 🥲
8:56 But... Mark 41 is supposed to look fragmented, it was a sort of prototype for mark 42, wich can split and fly to put on the armor more easily. Mark 41 is named "Bone" because of this characteristic, who makes the armor look fragmented like bones in a skeleton. You did the same error for many armors like mark 25 or the blazer armor. You seem not be a Marvel fan, only a Lego marvel fan. So please, try to find out about the movie designs before making unfair critics. Sorry for bad english
This man under ranked the house party protocol armors for "not sticking" to Iron Man, but ranks the Iron Patriot high...when he's talking War Machine Also the 2023 War Machine is the most accurate we got of him from Iron Man 2, the "Original" as you called it has the 002 printing to show it's War Machine Mark 2. Just a little research on this to give yourself more context woulda been better. The rest seems to be fine, but man the house party suits & War Machine got done dirty
You did a well job at ranking these figures Ryan, but I found it weird when you said most of comic figures looked flat and not realistic compared to the other ones. But I'm pretty sure they make the comic suits not have shading to make them look like they were drew in a comic, they're supposed to look papery
I take issue with the weird order that you covered the figures in, such as Mk37 Hammerhead (SCUBA) and Mk39 Gemini (space) not being covered after the Mk33 Silver Centurion.
16:46 That suit is trying to adapt The Golden Age Iron Man from The Marvel Classic Cómics…you know that age in where Iron Man could move his mouth and eyes with the mask on
The 2022 War Machine figure isn’t a remake of the original War Machine figure it’s meant to be a first time minifigure appearance of the MK1 War Machine from Iron Man 2
the iron man marks 22, 25, 33, and 51 are my favorites and it frustrated me to no end to constantly be pausing the video to look up the actual iron man suits and finding they are exactly as they are in their lego versions. I honesty feel like he was trying to rank the iron man suits in general, not the lego versions. he just didn't like how marvel designed tony's suits lol.
Lego's Blazer armor and the movie Mark 22, while incredibly similar, are actually different suits. The faceplate on Blazer is completely different from Mark 22, and Blazer has a circular Arc Reactor while the Mark 22 has a rectangular one.
ok so last i checked striker wasnt supposed to look like a normal iron man suit. it was built for construction its green varitation, the mk 26 is built for the same purpose, but just to deal with radiation as well so yeah. also the whole point of lego is mainly to entertain kids so the armor doesnt need to look realistic and doesnt need shading man
For the Silver Centurion I think that just because of the rarity and expensiveness also not to mention that it has side leg printing (extremely rare) that it should be put in A tier.
THIS GUY HAS SOME SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH CHOOSING!!!☠️☠️☠️💀💀💀💀 Like FR WWHHOO puts the silver centurion BELOW S tier, like bro, if there were some type of higher tiers than S, then absolutely it’s there. Plus he seriously likes the new awfully trash-looking ugly helmets. AAAUUUGGGHHHHH 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
I really like the Mark 2, though it's meant to be the video game's prototype, they were clever to leaveboff the details of Tony's blue shirt as to allow buyers to place it in their mcu collection.
This might be the worst tier list I ve ever seen. There is a clear lack of knowledge, twisting real facts and belittling the comics. Not to speak of the ranking and the reasons itself.
I definitely feel like you should have researched a bit more before making the video and commenting on some of the figs. The most unfair opinions were for the Mark 22, 25 and 41 suits. These are all actually very accurate to the movie and I don't see how you could pull in a "conspiracy theory". Mark 41 nicknamed Bones breaks apart, hence the fragmented look and you can see the movie design is complex, hence the complex torso design on the minifig.
I’m really annoyed with the visual dictionary because it names suits specifically made to look like ones from the video game, into ones from the movies which makes absolutely no sense. The mark 22 is more of a war machine prototype since it’s supposed to have a rectangular arc reactor and is designed slightly differently. And then mark 30 “bluesteel” is supposed to be the same as taser? Like uhmmm no? The mark 30 is almost exactly the same as the silver centurion just blue instead of red and should not have a round arc reactor. Basically this book just says that lego considers these suits good representations of the movie ones so now we may not get the real things in the future since lego has “already made that suit”
3:00 i don't mind it because you still gotta remember the plates on the helmet is not perfectly sealed so the lines on the minifig is quite a neat touch
Nice video, Personally I would have put silver centurion & purple rescue armour as an S tier, they are 2 of my favourites. What about the half suit that came with the avengers tower GWP (SH584) and the advent calendar. I'm not saying is a good one but i think they should be included. They are in my ironman collection, if it has a helmet I count it as being Iron man :)
My personal favorite Iron Man suits are the Mark 85 with the old helmet & wings, Scuba Iron Man because I love the sand green color scheme, & the purple MCU Rescue armor. As good as the Silver Centurion suit is as a Lego minifigure, it’s just more red so it doesn’t stand out as much Scuba Iron Man does for me.
21:26 The war machine is not a remake, it was the first time lego made that specific armor. That's war machine mark 1, aka iron man mark 2 that justin hammer modified for the military. The grey armor that was from iron man 3 was war machine mark 2 before the military repainted it to be iron patriot and then rhodey switched again to black
The weird one has the look of the armor from the Iron Man comics, but it could be either Tony's most recent armor or the classic one (but I believe it's closer to the classic than the most recent one)
Tbh silver war machine deserves S. The helmet for mechs is great. The helmet fixes Mk2, Mk22, and Mk25. Also the face plate combined with Iron Patriot’s helmet helps Mk30. This war machine is my lore and savior
21:26 I think you don't know thw fact that the first minifigure for War Matchine is War Matchine Mark2 from Avengers Age of Ultron and the 'remake' is War Matchine Mark 1 from Iron Man2 they are different suits
Two different war machines between the mk 1 and mk 2 and u never payed attention to accuracy in film which a lot of figures had but you did not pay attention and then ranked them low. Also the space suit and scuba suit are mcu inspired from hammerhead and Gemini in Iron man three. Do ur research
7:14 bro knows nothing about Ironman this is an official Ironman suit from the movie it is accurate to the movie and that’s how it looks Know your material bro 😒 That’s how the MK 25 looks bro look it up
Actually, Marck 25 actually has a square shaped arc reactor and that’s why the mini figure had square shaped arc reactor, and the orange shoulder pads are supposed to be cut is in the movie he has orange on his Shoulders
The war machine minifigure at 21:29 is not actually a remake of the original war machine. Its the war machine mark 1 from iron man 2. The original war machine minifigure is numbered the war machine mark 3 if i remember right even though its the second one we see in the movies. Taser and blazer are also based off designs from iron man 3, mark 30 blue steel and mark 22 hot rod. The mark 25 jackhammer originally debuted in the same scene, as well asthe mcus variation of the mark 33, silver centurion.
My favorite Iron Man suit is the Iron Man 2 Mark 6. Also was the first one I picked up when the original Avengers set came out. Been hooked ever since.
hey Ryan, next time maybe do some research on the figures to their movie/comic/video game versions. the ones you said looked goofy and not "iron man enough" are actually from the movie. id love to talk to you about this. friendly debate :)
I always thought a lot of the Iron Man 3 suits looked goofy. Tony's experimental manic suit creation phase was just that, experimental and driven by panic. While they are "movie suits,' I just felt they never fit the MCU aesthetic that most of Tony's main suits have. Always down for sone friendly debate in the comments and thanks for sharing your thoughts!
thanks for the info about the Heart armor helmet weekness, I checked mine, and there is some "stains" on the silver parts, but no so bad. Quickly put him in protective bag to prevent more damage.
I believe an error has been made on your part by not comparing each mk to it's actual (in mcu) counterpart. Hot Rod for example, has the flames on the legs, having it on blazer makes this detail less cartoony has it's accurate to the original.
I am a big fan of Lego iron man and this video seemed very interesting but the points you bring up are so unjust for certain suits and I really dislike your takes. Still a fun video though
Always love your videos and all but for this one I have a lot to disagree with as well as certain aspects that's took me to dislike it. -5:50 I do respect your opinion about the simplicity of early Iron man figure, but they should be normal thing and not be hash viewed. During 2013, mk17 is one of the best designed minifigure with very detailed wire and stuff on the torso, not to mention its visor is the 1st to have blue eyes, silver chin and dark red paint on it, which still has better look than most of Iron man nowaday. The video should focus on the design of the minifig, mk17 got in the C tier because his silver chin usually get sworn off is not a convincing reason. -For mk25 in 7:15 , your theory is just so...(I'm not gonna say it). The mk25 minifigure is based on the mk25 suit Striker in the Iron man 3 movie, the suit was literally IN THE MOVIE and has like 3-4 seconds of screen time. And I dont understand why you say its arc reactor not like other Iron man suit, this suit in the movie is the 1st suit that has rectangle shape arc reactor, the Lego design team nailed this figure tho with that shoulder piece. -8:15 The Centurion is considered one of the most perfect Iron man minifigure ever created, it still the only Iron man figure to have side printed arms and legs, not to mention the armour and 2 exclusive printed plates are awesome for a polybag minifigure, the sud-printed lines on his arc reactor just give the figure more detail, Dont no what to say when you consider everything not great/not bad. The boy should be at least A tier or above. -9:10 You just complained about the lack of shading and simple detail of the previous figure but this one you complain the details are too much? Okay I still respect the opinion at this point but the suit in the movie has exactly that complicated look. -11:15 the torso is very well blended with the legs tho, mk45 is the 1st Iron man minifigure to have bright red shading with dark red. I personally view this is one of the underrated Iron man suits, should be on B tier at least. -12:50 Up until now you complain about the bulkiness of the helmet? Seriously? -19:38 Dude...no mouth is literally the design of the suit in the Comic, why should this be a mistake??? Generally, for your comment on mk25, I got less respect for you regarding the basic knowledge about the minifigure you're collecting. This video is a very down road to me man. Hope to see better contents in 2024. Happy new year tho.

It’s good ranking, I think the “Weird One” is supposed to be based on his 90s comic design maybe even the 94 cartoon
21:26
I think you don't know thw fact that the first minifigure for War Matchine is War Matchine Mark2 from Avengers Age of Ultron and the 'remake' is War Matchine Mark 1 from Iron Man2
they are different suits
I don't like the Iron Man that they put into the next suits his helmet looks so ugly
My paint hasn’t chipped at all on my heartbreaker armor
Mark 47 is my favorite 🙌 glad that you appreciate it too Ryan!
ngl this hurt in some way lol, I respect your opinion and listing of the suits but it couldn't look more different from what mine would look like lol
Do not ever try to cook again
Two different war machines between the mk 1 and mk 2 and u never payed attention to accuracy in film which a lot of figures had but you did not pay attention and then ranked them low. Also the space suit and scuba suit are mcu inspired from hammerhead and Gemini in Iron man three. Do ur research
7:14 bro knows nothing about Ironman this is an official Ironman suit from the movie it is accurate to the movie and that’s how it looks
Know your material bro 😒
That’s how the MK 25 looks bro look it up
I like how everyone for MK25 figure don’t even include the jackhammers on the hands but just LEAVE IT OFF FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASOND
7:21 it supposed to be like that many suits have different arc reactors variations
Tierlist video? Lets goooo!!
OG mark 50 and 85 on B tier is mad work
13:45 Comics Model 64, not Mark.
19:10 i think it would have worked better if they completely removed dark red parts and mad him fully venomized
War machine was never in the game
I love your vids, but I can’t believe you put mark 25 in D tier
This video ruined my day.
Bro the space suit is in the MCU
Lego Iron Man helmets peaked when you could lift the mask up and see his face underneath
thanks for the info about the Heart armor helmet weekness, I checked mine, and there is some "stains" on the silver parts, but no so bad.
Glad you enjoyed the video even if you didn't agree with the ranking. I would love to hear what your favorite LEGO Iron Man figures are!
its almost like the mcu rescue has a less prominent arc reactor for 2 reasons
Waited for video like this, there is no more satysying thing than ranking all lego iron man or spider-man figures (eventually batman)
