I use to think the husband's name was Usethishat because when i was a kid i couldn't understand what the narrator was saying. So i mostly just named the characters Cereal and Usethishat and Courage. Man i was a stupid kid before.

I showed this to my uncle (the va of Courage) and he loved it. He was laughing, he was impressed at the amount of references and included characters, he said he loved how it was animated. And he absolutely loved courage’s laugh at the end. You may not believe me but I just wanted to say how much he loved your video.
I seriously doubt that he voiced courage. Let alone in the show.

It’s ok if you don’t believe me Ik it sounds far fetched I get it, but all I care about is that there’s a chance Lukozuki sees this and I hope it makes him smile. Cause this video sure made my uncle happy that this community still loves the show he loves so much and that people are so creative and loving of this franchise that he still loves to this day.

Sooo many references, and just by 1 tiny reference I can remember the whole episode and if someone sat by me, I could probably pause the video and summarize each episode reference.... Its that big part of most of our childhood.
Man... Its just like watching it yesterday... Tickles a faaaaar away part in my brain with nostalgia.
The ability to have literally EVERY episode referenced in 2 and a half minutes of perfect animation is beautiful.

Otavio and Pedro did a fantastic job with the bugle creature. This thing was the single most disturbing creature I had ever seen in a cartoon, gave me nightmares for weeks, months even. Still can't look at the original without feeling deeply unnerved. And yet, the designers made it such a soft and nostalgic thing, a celebration of Dilworth's character design. Such a great video! 💙
its amazing how after soo many years just seeing a character you are reminded of them and the episode for the most part.. just shows how memorable the show was and how well the characters were shown

Still breaks my heart when as a child, i didnt know Murel was deaf and after being grown up understanding alot more.
Pretty sure she wasn’t deaf. Eustace was always screaming at her from the other room and I think she responded most of the time. I think the bit about her not hearing without her glasses was just meant to be a joke in that it didn’t make sense. Not that she was forced to read lips.
@@xedusk During one of the episodes she told Courage she couldnt hear him without her glasses, meaning she was reading sign language or lips.

@@xedusk Yeah, was just restating it. There been alot of episode if i remember as a child where things happened around her that made alot of sounds like the spider at the old motel, she didnt notice it til it touched her.

In the “new mattress” episode, she orders the mattress over the phone. In the episode “the Mask”, Kitty wore a mask that obstructed her face whenever she talked with Muriel.
I think she just doesn’t pay much attention to her surroundings. Maybe she’s hard of hearing, but definitely not deaf.
