Which prepositions do you sometimes get stuck on? 😣 There’s a *NEW* mmmEnglish Prepositions course 👉🏻 bit.ly/prepositions8x8 & my mmmEnglish students can try one of the lessons for free! ❤️
So hey again, Emma and I'd like to share with you some kinda examples of the correct using of prepositions with the verbs and adjectives. All of these I'm gonna write here was that I've learnt by myself only. And of course, it's owing to your amazing lessons as well, you know! Here are my samples. They might be turned out to be really needful for someone else. annoy at/with someone annoy about something bad/good/brilliant/awful at (doing) something astounded by/at something astonished by/at something clever at something delighted by/at/with something (all of these are correct) fascinated by something furious at/with/about something/someone impressed by/at/with something/someone shocked by/at something surprised by/at something That was my list of examples I actually know about correct using prepositions with the adjectives together. Indeed, I know a lot more about them but there was a little part of prepositions that were related to your today's lesson topic. I'm also aware of the plenty of fixed examples with another prepositions that can be factually used with another adjectives and also verbs. So If you wanna it, I can scribble them down here too. Your little girl Frankie is very very cute in the video! I liked her! She's been taught English BY you, hasn't she? hehe... it's just a little joke, no angry at all!.. Now I've got two cats in my family! Love animals much! Thanks Emma, my gorgeous teacher one more time! Stay in safe! And I'll see you soon!
Sometimes it is difficult to recall and know how to use them when it comes to speaking, however, when you noticed that Emma's Channel help us with that issue. So I feel like I can't express how appropriate I am. A huge hug from Colombia.
Your each videos from which I always learn too much are amazing. A video can give me knowledge about grammar, practice my English listening skill, fix my pronounciation, and get many new vocabularies at the same time.
Emma, I am Chilean, (South American), and I find the topics you deal with so useful to improve my English. And I find them doubly interesting, because I also enjoy appreciating your body language, your movements seem so Latin to me, the way you smile, look at the camera, move your hands. I wonder if there is some drop of Latin blood running through your veins, because your body language helps us the Latinos to learn English in a better way, they reinforce in an effective way the concept behind you want to transmit, (we the Latins use much body language to also communicate). Congratulations and continue to teach us better English.
Today I learned the preposition by . Which can be used for days and for places.thank you so much emma. You are a valuable teacher to the world. God bless you
Hi Emma, this is a very welcome lesson. In my case, I have to repeat prepositions all the time especially when to use by or at. You are a wonderful teacher
Great approach! English isn't an easy language. One of my nannies "Bee" from Thailand couldn't figure out why everyone was laughing at her because she said she just wanted to "stay home and play with herself" when her friends threw a party: meaning she wanted to play video games on her computer. Someone finally explained it to her! Keep up the good work!
By the end of this lesson I could say that I'm not confused when it's to use the propositions at, on and by. At the same time I confirm that I'm not surprised by the clear presentation of teacher Emma.
