Bonamassa does it on stage to hide the fact that he's truly a geek, though he claims he's light sensitive. 😏 However, she's lovely, plays a mean guitar, and can sing. I'm not under the impression that MJ "fired" all the musicians from previous tours the way this guy describes multiple times. It'd been 12 years since Michael did ANY tour so at this point he probably wanted a fresh (perhaps younger) lineup w/ the exception of drummer Jonathan Moffett and a couple of background singers.

MJ booked Jennifer Batten only for his live shows, She replaced David Williams, who used to play with the Jacksons' tours for a while. Mj used to work with different musicians in the studio and live. There were only one or 2 musicians he worked with both live and in studio (greg Philinganes -but he was his music director on tours, so...)

In fact...I'm the LAST fucx in the wake-up room lol. I wake up, with a nurse six inches above my face...with the look of oh shit.
