  • I wanted to experiment with re-editing some of my early videos as my video and editing skills and style have changed a lot over the past 5-6 years.
The original video was 23 mins and this version is only 12 mins but still contains all the relevant and necessary steps and info to complete the build.

Me too, but you can catch him on his app "Makers Playground" and keep up with what he's doing, if you don't already have it.
He has some awesome products coming out.

Excellent jig (and video). I used my version of this jig a few days ago to square off a chunk of firewood but I wasn't impressed with the result. Now I think I'll rebuild my jig along the lines of your design.

So much going on here. I remember the original, still a very cool jig. I'm also a fan of re-editing content as your film skills improve so it was great to see this again. Lastly, it may be a cheeky tag but certainly worthy of an entry! Multiple entries per creator are allowed 😁

Thanks very much James, it was actually an enjoyable experience and to see the difference was great. Not sure if you watched the end where I said how this was just a bit of fun and not really an entry. Thought it would give the hashtag a bit of exposure. Just posted my real entry video.

Nice jig, would have liked one last week as I had a few boards to reconstruct. Aah well for next time then. The routing idea would do me in as I would more than likely take out the sides of the jig with the router bit. 🙂

@@DownUnderWoodWorks I immediately saw the same problem, but I guess you can avoid it by using a propper sized bushing, or even drill holes and attach a smell fence to the plate. Another aspect is, if I need and make this jig, to make it wider and do the job for my tiny 8" jointer.
