Wow! Is it THE Casper?? :) Hope you enjoyed the video! Haha, sometimes I don't know how I do it myself, it's just a matter of habit now I guess:P I tried shift-clicking for a while, but I kept mis-timing somehow and frequently activated the module itself instead of heating it... Making these videos have been exposing me as a module clicker xD Never got used to using shortcuts for PVP, only for scanning.
@@juneipariswingshift +keybind to module slot, this toggles overheat On or off, but does not activate a module, try it with shift+F1. You'll feel like a god in PvP mobastyle
This video and the other meta shift videos have really given me a whole new perspective on fittings and just what is possible in this game. Unfortunately, I don't have so much time to give to this game, and I'm just an alpha, so the most interesting things I'd like to try aren't available to me. Someday I wonder if there are other alpha ships that I'm missing other than the cyclone at cruiser/battlecruiser level that can use shield boosters effectively
Ah my bad, never responded to this comment:P There are several good Alpha shield cruisers/BC's for PVP: Osprey Navy Issue, Ferox/Ferox Navy, Moa, Caracal/Caracal Navy, Drake/Drake Navy, Stabber, Stabber Fleet, Scythe Fleet, etc. It all depends on what weapons system you have skills for and/or enjoy using! Best of luck
I'm glad you liked it! The fight against your Drek is what really pushed me to using a Cap Booster. If I had one, perhaps I would've got you:) It didn't seem like you were bait tanking, were you? Also, with the dual ancil set-up (instead of triple), if you had kept range (assuming you had tackle), you possibly would've killed me too!
Great videos, subscribed hoping for more, I’ve just started fiction warfare hoping to better myself at pvp been using different frigates enjoying it but finding it hard due to most of the time coming into small groups, which cruiser would you recommend for trying out to get me started, I don’t mind dieing just staying on grid longer than 10 seconds 😂
Sorry for the late reply, I was out on vacation:) Thank you for subbing! FW is decent, I started out in LS myself, although as you mention, it is harder as a solo pilot nowadays (after the FW changes). As for what cruiser, it really depends on your skills, set-up, and if you're going to stick exclusively to LS (i.e. Navy cruisers) 1) Rail Exeq Navy: If you are concerned about blobs, a Rail Nexeq is perfect. Very Fast, decent tank, and great projection as a kite platform. 2) RLML Osprey Navy: Rapid Lights are such a great way to deal with the frigate menace. Double nano ONI is a very good kite platform too. 3) Vexor Navy: VNI is a great brawling platform. A very strong tank and you can choose between fitting guns or neuts in the highs. 4) Vedmak: Ved is amazing, although I don't think you can slide them in navy Plexes!? It's still a great ship that you can learn a lot from. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, you can join our Alliance Discord to chat with us: (discord.com/invite/GExkS9WU8R) I might be able to sauce you some fits then too. Cheers!
Glad you liked the vid! The Shadow War event was really unique. For this stage of the event, the HS sites were gated. When you activated the gates in HS, you incur a suspect timer, allowing people to fight inside without Concord intervention! It was a really great way to get fights, especially 1v1's which are honestly hard to come by nowadays.
Can it get kills, yes. Can it be easily dealt with yes. Not sure its worth the performance. 2XLASB gnosis, pretty much do the same, but hold more batteries.

Cheers from Kaira on that extra-beefy Drake :) that was a nice fight, wish you all the best)
Thank you for your kind words! You were well and truly beefy:D

How do you get thoose fights in high sec? Wardecs?

Bro is worth over 3x i am... i wish i had that kind of isk
I have a Cyclone like that, you would never have stood if he had stayed.
In a dual XLASB, yes I would not be able to tank. If I was in a triple XLASB though, you would be surprised by how much I can tank.
