I'm not a basshead nor a treble head but I don't mind them if they are pushed a little forward, as long as it doesn't overpower the mids, because I mostly listen to 80's hard rock/metal and the vocals are the most important part of the music for me.
Tried this today. A lot of background hiss with low - mid sensitive IEM's. Better with overheads. I'm in Thailand and it's hot, so IEMs are very much the thing here. The store had a sample unit & are only doing pre orders. Heard this on another review as well.
Would you recommend it for iem mostly(90%) use, am in between buying it or going for a dap( Hiby r6 proii) would the sonic difference be noticeable with iems?
For sound quality and performance, I much prefer Mojo 2. If you are looking for a wider soundstage and other technicalities, CMA18P is one of the best.
@@paulstella8443 no worries mate. Its simply mojo 2 sounds more analog and "sweet". Chord has its own algorithm to process the song with their secret sauce. But in terms of looks and feel, cma18p is so beautiful.
@@paulstella8443 yes the lossless UHD DSP is one of chord competitive advantages. I suggest you demo them even several times to see the best fit for your needs and ears.
@@angelocortez6757 wait until you hear it yourself. I find that very difficult to believe & people who tend to have loads of dac/amps/gear often have serious recency bias as they're never content.
@@angelocortez6757 how many times have you heard 'the Mojo 2 beater!'... it never is & it's forgotten very quickly, whilst the old faithfuls, Mojo 1 & 2 have been the champs for almost ten years. I know a lot of people get excited about new gear & it's understandable... but when they come back down from that initial excitement of something new... the Mojo series still reigns supreme. It'll be one of VERY few personal audio products that will be remembered & spoken about in 30 years.
Thank-you for another great review Sajid 🙏 I love my iBasso PB5 Osprey and it is such an amazing pairing with the ZMF VC
The peak wattage is 5 watt for the CMA 18. This is the regular wattage witch is 1 watt. Good review btw 😉

9:30 can i ask if adding an amplifier like the pb5 osprey increases the noise floor?

Hello, can you tell me which device has an equalizer that does not cause interference other than the Sony player?
Please review sound tiger Sinfonia amplifier
is it normal for this thing to get pretty hot even after only about 20-30 mins in of use?
thanks for the review.
Did you replace your tsuranagi with pb5?
Yeah
Just saw you listed the Grand Maestro for sale on Headfi, I thought you said it was a keeper 🥲
Which tips you use for FF GM?
Those who say the GM is muddy are using the wrong tips.
Those who say the GM is too bright probably don't have it inserted deep enough.
how it is compare to HUgo2 and Mojo2 ? Also i have M15i which i love, this one is worth purchase ?

@@eboboboy thanks a bunch. Trying to get as many impressions between the two as possible.
I do like some of the DSP options the Mojo 2 has.

"Q style" ? I thought it was "Quest style" lol
It IS. 😊
Portmanteau
It doesn't matter. This isn't an English language lecture. Probably most stupid language anyways.
I have heard both. I have heard a Questyle Asian rep say Q-style.
This or the mojo 2?
This.
