- In this English lesson we look at the names of 88 countries and their corresponding nationality. We have included the flag of each country as well as a photo of something typical from there.
The nationality appears in the common adjective form
Country: Italy ---- Nationality: Italian
We can use it as an adjective (e.g. Italian Food) or for giving a nationality (e.g. I am Italian)

Great video. I love Woodward English website and material. Just wish Brazil's picture would be another one. There are so many beautiful places in Brazil. If you meant to honor Brazilian football, should be a picture of Maracanã, or something like that, but not that crazy person.

It's a image of salt famers wear conical hats under the scorching heat of the sun. They pour salt out of their yokes into the fields.
It was taken at Hon Khoi, Ninh Hoa Commune ( around 40 kilometers to the North of Nha Trang city)

Great video, thank you. But I’m still baffled. What is the difference between He is Italian (adjective) and an Italian (noun). Is it ok to say - He is an Italian? Thanx.
Yes, it is grammatically correct to say "He is an Italian"... though "He is Italian" is used much more.
He is Italian .... refers to his nationality
He is an Italian ... refers to him being a person from Italian. = He is an Italian person. (This is not used much.)
