I bought my daughter one of these Ford Edge cars. You Guy's videos are great, because these cars are not. And they really suck to work on. So thanks Repair Guys!!!
What it’s hose called that runs under the housing, under the intake, and back to the reservoir? I can’t find a replacement and am doing a whole housing replacement. Thank you
Saludos agradezco tus vídeos Una pregunta Mira yo tengo un Lincoln mkx 07 3.5 mi pregunta es El termostato de mi coche a que temperatura abre?? Gracias!!
I have Lincoln MKX my car is blowing cool air then it gets hot when I drive , then cool again when I stop. Then today I left car running got back in a sounded like a fan was on and my temp gauge was over half...is this a thermostat problem ?
It is because you could not remove all the coolant from the engine, and this would cause that when removing the thermostat much liquid will fall to the ground.

@Christian Long lol
You guys have a video on everything I need on my mkx, I highly appreciate this Chanel. Love you guys!
Don’t disconnect the hose you don’t need to. Just unbolt the aluminum housing connecting elbow that’s attached to the hose
Really appreciate all your videos! They are all very helpful.
Thank you!! It helped greatly, especially about not disconnecting the fuel line :)

I have one too and I agree. It’s always something with these trucks
I appreciate your videos but if you would follow through with the completion of the job that would be more helpful.

Did the replacement seal you linked in the description actually work? I don't know why the old seal and new seal look completely different.

The bolt for the bottom half of the air filter is a pain😅
👏👏✨
Ok that accent is hilarious lol.
Didn't get anything out of video
I just wanted to no how long to change the thermostat
Yall video does take to long to get to the point we don't want to hear or see how long a bolt is get to the point damm
Why can't I just drain the coolant from the top thermostat housing and hoses instead of going down at the bottom and draining all the coolant out
It is because you could not remove all the coolant from the engine, and this would cause that when removing the thermostat much liquid will fall to the ground.
That's what I usually do, just let the coolant drain from the thermostat hose. Put a container under vehicle to catch most of the coolant.
i would just take the hose and mount bolts of housing off
and replace it
Sounds like your talking underwater.
