Borders and title blocks etc go Layouts ( previously Paperspace ) not Model space.
And that's why we use 1:1 for Layouts

Dont follow his directions for size if you want to print this, shrink each side by an inch if you do for a ½" border

the @ command gives only an error.
so can not set a paper size. can find nothing about the @ on autocad site also also in metric mm would help.

If you're gonna use metric units set your length type to decimal, fractional, or scientific depending on what you're working on. Architecural and engineering length types will only use inches as its unit.
