I THINK THE WRITERS OF MARIA CLARA AT IBARRA SET THE STANDARD FOR PHILIPPINE DRAMA
This is the only Filipino drama that I genuinely enjoyed watching. As a Gen Z, this gave me a different view about the reality of our country. I'm a huge fan of Rizal's novels since nung nasa junior high pa lang ako, and I can say that this drama showcased our culture and history in a very exceptional way. Everything about this drama is beautifully made. Kudos to the actors and the entire GMA crew for this masterpiece. Hanggang sa muli, MCI! < 3

Binged this on Netflix. Got increasingly frustrated when last episode was nearing its end and still no Fidel. But sooo delighted that Fidel appeared as a time traveller, unlike the multiverse versions of M. Clara and Ibarra. Klay didn't just get Fidel crumbs but the whole and real deal. FiLay is the best!
Maybe because Fidel isn't really part of the novel.
The ending no one expected. This story is beyond imaginable. Beautiful!

These are "The Best of the Best" twists because they are clever, unexpected, and seem effortless-but of course, writers know how much effort goes into devising them.
These twists overturns or negates an already drawn conclusion or a firmly entrenched and reasonable assumption. A twist is more than a surprise ending - "seven year medical doctor scholarship abroad, in United States of America for Klay", "Klay's Papa and mother Narcisa together, at least, in attending her graduation", "Ibarra and Maria Clara look alike", and "Fidel going out the "portal" after seven years". **IT IS A "GREAT WORK OF ART" - A "MASTERPIECE"!!!**

"Maria Clara at Ibarra" has a complicated plot with a triple (or even quadruple) structure, and as such, the denouement, the **FINALE EPISODE 105!!!** is a bit longer and more elaborate, and in the end, more of a montage of the journey than a set of specific scenes.
All I can say is thank you, GMA!

Biruin mo hindi pinaplano na mag kaloveteam si Klay sa kwento pero ang ending nag ka jowa. Hayyy sarap naman ng ending . Love it!!!

Bitin naman ang Filay pasabog scene. Pero worth it ang kilig. Unpredictable ang Filay love story. Akala ko talaga ibang Fidel ang makikita ni Klay. Pero nakakatuwa talaga kasi siya pa rin si Ginoong Fidel na nakilala ni Klay sa nobela. Wala siyang records like birth cetificate. Tapos kakailanganin rin niya mag aral ulit for the sake of diploma sa real world. Hindi sure kung saan siya titira 😂😂 at lalong hindi sure kung tatanggap siya ng tulong galing kay Klay. For sure as a guy ng sinaunang panahon, medyo mahiyain yan ang mga disenteng lalaki tulad nina Ibarra at Fidel na magpabuhat sa babae.
Although advantage na niya yung mga taon ng pag aaral niya about law and business sa world nila, kung sakali kukuha siya ng business or law course sa college. At sa europe pa talaga siya nag aral so kahit papano possible makahabol parin si Fidel kasi advance na eversince ang Europe.
This show made us feel proud, again, as Filipinos of our heritage. Congratulations to all the creators of this masterpiece... And for giving us a Pambansang Ginoo and Pambansang Gen Z to look forward to.

I must say, congrats for this wonderful teleserye. Of all GMA teleseryes, eto ang inabangan ko. Naisip ko kung paano iaadapt ang Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo nun, and GMA executed it the right way kahit may twist ni Klay and Fidel. This series is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! 😎👍🏻

Super magagaling and lahat ng characters talagang sila and itinadhana sa Maria Clara at Ibarra na di magagawa ng ibang artista. The Best talaga ang lahat ng mga characters at lalo na ang Director!!! Sig Dulay!!!Bravo, sampu ng mga team nya na kasama!! Sana may another Historical Movies pa kayong gawin na para sa Ikamumulat ng mga Kabataan ng Ngayong Henerasyon at ng ating bayan!!!
