I scored a copy of the Dark Falcon for half off at Walmart and it’ll be a nice quick flip. I’ll get the Batman mech if it’s around $8, but I’ll be buying it to part it out. I usually will buy any set just to part them out, but only if they’re on sale.
Have you done, or could you do, a video on how to sell locally? Venue, assumed FB, where to meet, how to get paid, how to keep safe sort of stuff, privacy(?)
Heavily disagree with the Capt Rex micro fighter, $6 will never be an option, and it’s very good they brought this out keeps the scrapplers from selling them at a high price imo. Sets like these are great for people who don’t want to buy a 650$ set
I think the issue is not with the Captain Rex Micro Fighter, but the fact its the same Capt Rex mini. They could have made a different one (not even sub quality one) and not created the anger. Its not just investors who were stung, but collectors who paid out more than needed.
Minifigs: I have a lot of confidence on the D&D set. The demographic is growing and renewing, as D&D players like to custom build their characters when they play irl together to help visualise their characters. Prices will dip a little as the stock simmers down, with a lot of the excitement has cooled. But Series 27 is very promising with strong minifigs: Pirate Quartermaster (female), Steam Punk Guy, Wolfs Clan Beastmaster, Pterosaur. BUT then we have 3 months of mini cars... which is very niche.... I think stock will get eaten up with kids wanting a minifig. So I think in 6 months the stock will disappear on primary market with people over investing selling cheap ... BUT I think D&D fans, and Lego castle fans, will still be wanting the D&D figures. In other words, demand will remain consistent for D&D figures. AND then there are they key figures... The Paladin which people will want to Army build with, and key D&D game characters like Stroud, Lady Of Pain, etc. The ability to mix and match with the minifigures to fit into your D&D character will keep people interested. Red Tale D&D Castle set: Whilst this is being sold, I would guess 12-18 months, then people will want to fill the set with the other characters. If no one other set is sold then they will becomes essential figs to link. And the Red Tale set is of good enough quality to attract a steady flow of buyers . (I imagine this will be a slow and steady sale, present for kids or partners , annual bonus treat for someone, etc rather than a big rush to buy. The space sets work well with any Space and NASA sets which is likely to continue. I feel the astronaut with EV pack will be popular for the NASA sets and the Alien sets for the City Space range. I have 16 Paladins, plus 2 full sets of minifigs to go with 2 sets of Red Tale D&D set I got at 27% off I got 6 or so astronauts, 6 or so androids from the space series. 2 or 4 astronauts will go with the 2 Discovery Shuttle I got in the BF sales along with the creator 3 in 1 shuttles I got cheap to make a set. And I will continue to look for key figures and monitor which are selling HOWEVER: I would not buy bling.. many characters (esp D&D) arent really army builders... quite a few are singular enemies. So with there minifigs I think its just a question of finding the key figs that make reselling worth while. As scanning the code means you can be sure what figure you have, people will not believe "bling bags" and we expecting the character they want. In UK, the popular figures seem: D&D: Mind Fling, Paladin Dragonbourne, Stroud Space: Android Nurse (presumably for space baby), Ice Planet Warrior, astronaut
Bought moat of my speed champions at 13.99 and I bought a few if the pagini however you spell it. Think it might hit 25 or 30 and I will be happy. Lamborghini I have also and unfortunately I think it's gonna be a long hold. Everyone and their brother have them.
I’m sorry I’m not convinced in the office set. Yes great iconic show but the mini figs look generic and the keep bringing it back in stock. I see this as a zombie stock situation

@ I do agree with this but at the same time a different variant would of made the $650 one price skyrocket more in price bc of it’s rarity
@@jamesmcloving1935 it would not become rarer though.. it would maintain its price or drop ... as some collectors would not care which version
I can def see that point of view
