such a contrast to last year sales wise. i feel this is two parts 1) not many good sets are even retiring this year and 2) mass production is causing sets that did retire to have zombie stock and resellers who are selling at almost retail because they have too much inventory themselves. im very curious to see what the future holds because this black friday season has been rough. i havent picked up any sets since august. none of the sales have peaked my interest
I'd love to see Leia Bouush helmet under or around 40 but the odds are telling me nope not gonna happen lol. $55 just wasn't good enough for me. I think Chewie might be ok as I've been seeing ppl getting Chewie, C3P0, and the $100 R2-D2 to display. When all together it doesn't look bad and everything looks to scale.
Had to be really narrow this year. Picked up 3 City Gardens for an average $190.74 after including Lego points, Rakuten cash back, and GWP sales. Also loaded up on Jazz Quartet at $75 a piece plus tax at Barnes and noble
I plan on going deep on New York Skyline when it’s set to retire. I bought one Cody helmet to have a total of 16 helmets. I bought 5 more Frodo and gollum brickheads. I also bought 5 of Monkie Kid's Cloud Airship. The uniqueness of the airship is what made me buy it and I understand it may be a longer hold since it’s just a small market. I’ve got 42 of the countash so I’m happy with that amount. Agreed forget about the Vader helmet unless it hits that $40 price point like it did for this Black Friday. Otherwise it’s a pass for me.
I got only one Porsche 963. Really hoping the rumors are true and we get a Porsche GT3 RS speed champions in 2025. That one will without a doubt do amazing investing-wise.
I was waiting for the courasant guard gunship would hit 100 or 90 but I decided to get it for the 110 sale price with employee discount because I don’t think it’s gonna get any lower

These holiday sales this year were so weak, it will change my strategy for purchases next year. Saving up for Black Friday wasn’t effective.
