    I don’t know why anybody would have a personal problem with this. I actually am considering locs but if I can’t get them to look fluffy then I’m not getting them. Thank you ❤️

      Make thick sections. And only twist with water one time. Wait a month redo the same thing. They will stay reallly fluffy and thick

    The frizz makes it look full and im here for that. Thats why I don't palm roll or try to "tame them". Don't particularly like how thin palm rolled locs look

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure! Maybe you should try faux locs if you don't already have natural locs of your own, that way you can let if frizz up as much as it wants and it'll still look great since frizz are APART of/inevitable with locs anyway, so it just goes with the look!

    Good video.
    I've heard about brushing your locs. When I started mine in Dec, I was gonna throw my combs and brushes away [because I didn't think I'd ever need them again lol], until I ran across some people who brushed theirs either for frizz or styling.

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol oh yeah I know exactly what you mean, because I thought the same when I FIRST started locing years ago; but since then I’ve taken down my locs, started over AND had my daughter so it was kind of inevitable that I kept combs and brushes in the house, lol.

  • @TheOnlyPink

    I don’t feel like locks are supposed to be pulled and twisted constantly, that’s why a lot of ppl have bald spots and thinning and receding hairlines. I think it’s good to just keep them CLEAN and let them be

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. Too much stress and strain with ANY style can be detrimental to your hair and scalps health!

    Awesome video💞 I searched how to make locs thicker since my hair is less dense but interested in knowing if the frizz actually contributes to making the loc thicker?!

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Well frizz won’t PHYSICALLY make your locs thicker, it’ll only make it APPEAR fuller/thicker, until the frizz condensed into the loc over time or by using a crochet needle etc.

  • @rainlotts2791
    @rainlotts2791 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Good idea do you think it will work when they get matured? Also how many locs do you have? Gorgeous

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Unfortunately, I wouldn't know how they'd look if I did this then, since I no longer have my locs. And I believe I had about 65 locs after combining.

    Can this create frizz? I never had frizzy locs but I always loved the look. My hair is past my buns at this point but I'm starting to feel the urge to experiment.

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure if this will work on really long mature locs, since the hairs are so tightly compacted.

      Same! I've tried to wrap all of my frizz around each loc and hated how it turned out, lol. Way too neat for me..at least at this stage anyway.

  • @pintopinto9901
    @pintopinto9901 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I trimmed my frizzies because my locitation told me to do it. I REGRET. It will damage your locs. Anyone how to get my frizz back?

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh that sucks. This is exactly why I do my OWN research and educate myself on my hair/locs before I’d ever let any hairstylist/loctician touch my hair (which I don’t go to anyone anyway, I’ve always taken care of my own locs). But if they knew ANYTHING about locs they’d know that you NEVER cut frizz, because it CAN weaken your locs over time if done regularly. How old are your locs? Depending on their maturity you should be fine as far as the integrity of your locs goes, but if they’re younger like mine then that can cause problems. And there really isn’t a way to get the frizz that’s been cut back, except to wait until your locs grow out and new frizz starts to form.

    My locs look better with frizz. Never liked the fresh retwist look.

    • @MargauxChanel
      @MargauxChanel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same. I don’t mind my roots being neat/interlocked, but as for the actual loc itself, I just let the frizz do it’s thing. It adds character! Instead of being so perfectly uniform.
