@@flutor6946 I disagree lol. I have Blackout curtains and it definitely helps keep the house cooler! I literally walk next to window and if I move the curtain I can feel the super hot heat behind it. There are different Blackout curtains. Some block out more than others. I got the ones that block the most I love them
I love them & I now have two. All I have to do is just move my leg at night & I cool off. Wash & dry normally too. ❤ I highly recommend this style. I did buy the fancier version, but it was two separate sheets & I didn't like that, but it was cool too & it did look nicer.

I live in GA without AC we use a fan and I do get really sweaty and hot also (although I don’t really notice until morning) but I’m sure this will give me a better quality of sleep. I’m not a fan of the Heather look either but I got the blue and it’ll be ok. I’m waiting for it to arrive but we’re excited.
So to keep cool do you have the silky side on you and the cotton side up or the other way around. The silky side feels cooler to the touch but which way is the heat and moisture wicking direction?
Have any tips for staying cool without A/C?

You can also get cooling pillow cases, they work in a similar way in absorbing body heat, reducing skin temperature by 2 to 5°C instantly!

Will try one! Sounds like a solution I was looking for. Also great that it's cotton and feels heavy. I can't sleep without blanket either.
I sleep with the A/C on 68 because we have a husky. I also have a massive fan next to my bed and I still sweat in bed. So thank you for the review

On Amazon it says it's a little under 1.5lbs. For a thin blanket, it does have a bit of weight to it!
How much cooler can this blanket make you given that it's just a blanket?
I don't have a specific temperature to share but I will say I sweat way less than before 😄
