Helpful hint. To make it easier to thread the ties through the loops, attach a safety pin to the end of the strap. You will be able to easily push the strap through the loop 😁
Why not just fold the end of the strap and unfold it once it’s through the loop?
Or just pull the tie up to the loop and pin them together, no threading required.

love your daughters hair. i like the weighted blankets, i know the hospitals use them in the operating rooms to help calm the patients, and they bring them blankets out of a warmer. i do pretty well with buying heavy blankets made with a heavy material and it seems to work pretty well without the added cost.

Layering works well as well, and can easily be adjusted by adding or removing layers as needed.
Bailey is the true star of the show! Hopefully, your daughter joins you more often. Getting a female perspective on some of these products is invaluable.
Maybe he could review some of the cooling pads for pets, feat. Bailey the tester.

Here's a tip for you, if no one has mentioned it already; put a safety pin on those tabs (a small-ish one) and they'll be easier to thread through those loops. Thanks for the review. This looks interesting!
I’ve got a weighted blanket that I love to bits but I find that it’s incredibly hot making it uncomfortable in warmer weather. I believe this is mainly due to the material that it’s made from. This is fine during the cold / winter months especially over my comforter. From your review, I think I might try the chill version if I can find it for a good sale price.

Thank You for another great review. You are by far the favorite reviewer in our house! Hint: I think the two tags were for each part of the blanket. The one that said it was cotton covered was for the weighted part of the blanket, and the one that had polyester as the material would be the Outer Cover maybe?? Adorable ending :) I think I'd be curious to try one of these weighted blankets, especially in the summer. I love ducking under my blanket to curl up like I'm in a cave. Gotta remind myself I'm about to turn 30, lol. But as everyone else said, I too am curious about this BedJet so if possible, I'd love a review on it.

If the bed jet is the same apparatus they used in our hospital a long time ago, it was great. Feeling cool or warm after surgery was great!

Quick Fix for threading the straps into cloth loops, without a proper aglet: Use a twistie tie (like the ones you save off your loaves of bread and packs of bagels. You DO save your twistie ties, right?).
Fold the twistie tie in half, and place the strap in between, close to the fold, with at least one inch hanging off the side. Then, twist the tie, close to the strap, and straighten it into a "needle" shape, so you can use the "needle" to thread the strap through the loop.
Alternately, fold the twistie tie in half, and place the TIP of the strap in between the halves, close to the fold, and then wrap the tie around the strap, forming your own quickie aglet.
And if you really use this a lot, and want a more permanent fix, I know there are tools to create your own aglets! You get the plastic doodads and a hot air gun, so you can place the doodads and then heat them to shrink them. I used to have something like that, but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Sorry. But if you find it, I'd love to see a review.
If your daughter really likes the 20 pound weight, but prefers the chill fabric, why not just put the 20 pound weighted inner part, inside the white cover instead of the 15 pound inner. seems the covers are the only thing changing the temp and feel for the most part.

That might work for them, but for the average consumer it would require buying both blankets which is quite expensive and impractical.

Hi Noah! I also toss and turn a lot at night, but more importantly, it usually takes me forever to actually fall asleep. Do you have the same issue? If so, has the BlanQuil helped you with that? I feel like my quality of sleep is absolutely horrible, and I'm tired all the time as a result... Would love to find a ways to fix or at least attenuate that.
By the way, I love your hair color. On my monitor at least, it strikes just the right balance between a deep blue and purple.
@@bitMasque I do tend to have issues with tossing around in my sleep. Some nights are better than others. Overall I'd say it definitely has helped at least lessen the amount of moving I do in my sleep (since claiming it stops it 100% would be unfair haha)

Definitely review that bed blower thing! It sounds like it shouldn't work, but maybe it does? Especially try it with the weighted blanket!
A crochet hook will make quick work of those loops. 2 bucks at Walmart.

I bought my hubby a weighted blanket for Christmas & he loves it. But we live in an area that has long, hot summers, so we’ve been trying to figure out what to on hot summer nights. We have a Tempurpedic Breeze bed that has a cooling feature, & I have several like pillows; they all heat up from our body weight rather fast. Still, it’s easier to at least fall off to sleep when the bed is cool. It would be good if the Blanquil Cool company would make a cool duvet cover alone, that could be put on any like sized weighted blanket. We have also used a bed fan, and it has been very helpful in summer. Thanks for your reviews!
To help with putting the string through the loop: try doubling the end over, will make it more rigid 👍
they have blankets that have liquid that pumps threw tubes in the blanket to keep it cool, actually works pretty well from the 2 my friends mother has(one for travel one thats always on her bed)
Calling it Chill makes it seem like the blanket will keep you cool in summer during the night like a reverse electric blanket that keeps you warm.
My son uses this blanket and he loves it. It helps with his anxiety

You family is beautiful. My husban would appreciate this blanket and I would put it in the fridge for about one hour before he goes to bed just to help cool him at night a little longer. This blanket reminds me of my moms hot or cold neck pads that can go in the microwave for sec not min and be in the freezer all day. Pretty 😎

I was in Walmart a couple days ago and they have a weighted blanket I think its called tranquility. Im not sure of the exact price but if I remember correctly it was less than $100. It may be something you would like to compare to those two
Do not buy it. I bought the Tranquility 20 pound, and 1. The weight goes to one part making it impossible to cover your body with, and 2. Glass is all over me and my bed.
Bought one at Walmart Beads shift all to one side don't buy it.

Hey James I really love your videos, just had a question. Are both the BlanQuil and Blanquil Chill the same size dimension wise and if so would the insert from the original fit inside the cover for the Blanquil Chill and vice versa? Just curious since Noah was basically saying how she'd prefer the heavier blanket with the colder material.
If they made the “loops” larger then it would give the weighted section more wiggle room because to make the circle bigger you have to increase the length hence why it may be that small.

we got a weighted blanket from Walmart for $50 and my wife loves it. She loves to put it on over her shoulders to relieve stress. She doesn't sleep with it, but she does take naps with it. I kinda wish that a weighted blanket had a chainlink fence-type design to allow air to move freely in and out of the blanket. If you get cold, then thrown on an extra, regular blanket.
