Make sure you have Bluetooth or WiFi thermostat for monitoring inside because sometimes the unit is stuck on 18C reading but is keep heating. And toast your cells . I have to modify mine because it’s not consistent.
Hey @Bee_nayie, that will have to be next season unfortunately. This year, my wife planned a trip for us RIGHT as I was getting ready to graft, so I ended up just calling off the whole thing. Now that I've got my timing frames ready and the incubator ready, I should be good to go next Spring. I'll try and make sure to do a video on it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@MinnesotaBeekeeper hey Mike, I didn't notice a chemical plastic smell. Not strong anyway. I'll have to open her back up now and see if my memory is correct....
@@MinnesotaBeekeeper haha. I did the same (bought a wine cooler). I may not be as observant as you are because I don't remember it needing to gas off either. I'm thinking there may just be something wrong with my nose. 😆 🤣
Hey that's a cool little unit. I like the portable part. Looking forward to the update.
Thank you!
Hopefully I'll get time to do some more Queen rearing soon
I think it deserves a smoke test with queen cells 😊
LOL.
I'll have to get on that!
Oh wow, this looks super cool 😊
Thanks Ms T
The AC / DC option rocks! BADUM-TSS! 🤣
LOL!
That's great!
I think it is pretty cool, keep us posted how it works.
Will do Dennis. Thanks!
👋Hi, Tex😁

Great tip! And yes, I have a wifi thermostat to monitor.
Do you have the same exact incubator, or is yours a different?
@@TexasBeekeeper it’s same one only difference it is black one
@@Beekeeping_Bro Thanks!
I'll have to keep a close eye on it. Appreciate the warning.
Waiting on that part 2 😂

Do these incubators vibrate?. Is their sound bearable?
A spinning fan can do such things.
I think it's very quiet. I know sound tolerance is subjective, so take that for what it is. Just my opinion.
@@TexasBeekeeper Thank you!
Darn that is interesting! Got to ask, how is the chemical plastic smell inside? Some of the off gassing can be darn strong. Thanks.

@@TexasBeekeeper I bought a wine cooler for the creamed honey. I had to leave the door open for a month to let it off gas.but it seems to be fine now.

Do you sell queens ?
I do sell them locally. When I have them....
