maybe firing pattern with this technique can be combined with other methods to strengthen interpretation? like combining it with fMRI (that tells us about blood flow, and glucose consumption) to get information about energy supply
on managing the volume of data, maybe we can infuse the voltage trackers region by region instead of the entire brain at once? it will take far longer to get the whole picture though
on the problem of the brain being opaque, can't we use glowing membrane proteins that emit a different frequency? one that can penetrate the human brain. I imagine it like the protein analog of NMR experiments where photons emitted by magnetically excited nuclei are in the micro/radiowave range, passing through matter just fine and can be detected
Excellent Adam. Main problem is interpretation. I think I can give answers to ur doubts to some extent. Bcos i have text manual of humanbrain which is millions of years old. Not joking. I research on this past 25years. Ready to discuss
@@SuperMaDBrothers hi Adam, these ancient texts r easily available in india, these books are printed with permission from our state government, copied from the palm leave manuscripts from archaeological findings, there are hundreds of books, but only in our Tamil language. I suggest u to just have it and keep it , u will get answers for ur search. If u interested to get I give the publication contact or u want to know any particular topic , I can translate to u , happy to help 🙏🙏🙏
It sure is! Ain't it wonderful! We need more stuff like this. So what if he looks 'endearing' - he's a good speaker and explains it really well. I'm glad I found this. Fascinating and thank you Adam Cohen. now check out this gem. MRI scans, from NIHOD th-cam.com/video/j_fdptHmpio/w-d-xo.html
This man is like I know the stuff what I am talking about! This is how lectures should be.
I am over the moon for finding this video! Thank you a million times!

It's the 'nice guy' stuff ey bro, thank you bro, it will help
Somehow I can't picture this guy ever walking through South Central, LA.
He doesn’t have to, he’s a Harvard professor! SMH
@@veritas2185 Why does that mean he doesn't have to? Everyone walks sometimes.

I like your entoosiasm
Did he just avoid the use of the term "optogenetics"?????? and instead said light-sensitive light-gated ion channel?????
Would we know about fluorescence withou George a Gabriel Stokes ? I wonder
indeed, the emission of blue light".......St. Andrews has a great website
wow just wow
I Hoped this would be about visualization/ imagination as a skill of humans. This is graphic explanations about brain activity.
