Good day Camila, This video was good for helping to see what is needed to put a strong portfolio together. I am interested in how to actually get a customer or gifted collaboration with a company of interest. Thank you in advance for your help. I have a Canva UGC page already, I need to update it. Didn't realize it needed more consistent sprucing. Also, I do not have any experience with UGC, brand new. I do have some sample videos created though.
Hey Camila! Very helpful video. You just earned a new subscriber. I have a question regarding the portfolio. What should my portfolio look like when I have no experience working with brands please? I’m new to UGC and content creation. Any leads will be much appreciated. Thanks!!
Hey! I feel like this question deserves an entire video! But for the most part, when creators are just beginning and don't have any content yet to showcase, the best option is to find a take good products from around your home and create UGC-style content with those. So you'll have to work for free in the beginning to get it up and running. I think once you have anywhere from 4-6 videos to showcase, it gives you good odds to start landing beginner deals. I hope this helps!
So, how did you learn how to price yourself and send the videos and offer extras like voice over, the behind the scenes, technical stuff? Did you buy a course, or just learn as you went? 🤍
