9-23-2022….. my John Deere LA125 leaking oil just recently…. Running real ruff, checked oil stick and didn’t see any on it. It’s been about a week and half since getting it back from repair to add an electric clutch instead of cabled belt engagement. Ran fine a week ago. So,saw video, went got AT-205 at advance auto parts. $23 and change. Used 1/2 in a warm motor plus the additional oil 10w-40 nearly 1 qt……. Since I already put some mystery oil in before going to auto parts store….. I believe AT-205 didn’t help cause it still leaks. Runs really bad 😩
If it ran ok before the repair and after the repair it runs bad and leaks oil you might want to check with who repaired it? That would be my first thought. Sorry it’s running poorly.
How long did it take of running the mower to stop the leak.
After I did this, I ran the mower for about an hour (to mow my lawn).
