I'm so fucking blown away by this cover...wow. This hits different as well bc I think there are people in my life who feel this way about me. Edit (11mo later lol): I've come to listen to this song when I feel bad about myself, just to remind myself that I'm not hopeless and lost, and right now, as I type this, I'm crying because I'm having a crisis about my identity again and realizing I might be hurting myself in this kind of thinking, but I've come back to this song for other reasons, too. Thank you for this wonderful cover, and for faithfully bringing out the lyrical message of the original. It's helped a lot and I suspect it will continue to help as I keep going on. Edit (2 years): The past year or so has been insane, both good and bad. I've learned to rely on and trust people to keep their promises and be kind to me, and I have a feeling my future will be, if not bright, hopeful. You should try Road To Tomorrow~Going My Way from 5Ds. Probably the best YGO Op, IMO. Would also be interested in seeing Precious Times, Glory Days from GX or Trump Card from Arc-V
Just like all songs I'll have to settle in with this one but it's a really good song to help you reflect I can see by the other commenters mainly Moon Seidel it's made a lasting impact on people so I thank you for helping so many lives eat your hearts out k-pop groups
Ppl want S4 of the dub, however it wasn’t done cause the actor who did Satu died. Plus ontop of that The English dub was censored cause of the last season of how dark it was it wasn’t Four kids but parent groups who did so same with Yughio 5ds last season as well, that was on the dub team saying there wasn’t enough viewers that’s bs. In my opinion. Plus The Japanese are a lot different to us in anmie as well. Parent groups are to blame on the censorship on most of the dub Anime’s
No it wasn't done because the pressure was on to bring 5DS to the US. If they dubbed the final season they would have been at least 6 months to a year behind bringing 5DS to the US.
@@Bandinthesky I still blame parent groups. Plus as I point out as well. Also they wouldn’t be hind. 5ds wasn’t even started when S3 of Gx was near the ending also s4 only had 26 Episodes so they could have done it.
This song was basically the shows main themr song for a while. It lasted almost half the show which for an anime that’s not common unless the show is short and this one wasn’t
I love to imagine that in a parallel universe, Yugioh GX was not dub by 4Kids, and was instead dub by a good company like Funimation, mantaining the original themes and tone of the original; and that In that universe, this is the dub version of the 2nd opening. Seriously, its very well done. Simply amazing.
Angel Phoenyx It would be cool if there was something like Funimation kids which would be awsome in my mind because there wont be things like calling rice balls jelly donuts
If we're talking old funimation then the dub would've been alot different with how they worked back in the day. If it's current then the dub could either be really good or awful depending on who writes the scripts out

Teardrop is one of my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! opening songs, so definitely! Precious Time, Glory Days would be a bit harder, because the only instrumental out there is full of loud Japanese backing vocals.
