If I look at harding Lemays brief return for 3 months in 1988 from the end of the writers strike to November 1988 it's no comparison harding wins if I look at Doug Marland at atwt from November of 1985 to march of 1993 atwt with Doug Marland wins also let's see if I look at Paul Rauch oltl with s michrael snezzal from 1987 to 1989 oltl wins too ohh wait Paul Rauch was the old aw producer before he went to oltl in 1983 ohh wait Doug Marland was mentored by harding Lemay and Paul Rauch in the 1970s you can't call this good writing.
AW was always my favorite from when I started in 1988 until the very end. Most of the stories were top notch. The script/dialogue was the most realistic compared to the others. But if all that was still not enough to keep the ratings up, I’m shocked that Tom Eplin wasn’t! Jake was by far the hottest male star on soaps in the 80s-early 90s. No one hotter on soaps at that time. I don’t think there was any real competition until mid to late 90s with Antonio Sabato and then David Fuermo.
ok, Lorna left her grandma's at the age of 13 + she hasn't seen her in 10 years = 23 years. The writers cant get Lorna's age right throughout the year for crying out loud. It has drove me nuts every time someone doesn't really know her accurate age.
That's, what happens when you have a bad headwriter and actually go back and watch earlier periods in the shows history and compare it against what other soaps were doing at the, same time
Gisele Strauch because there has to always be a conflict in the storyline in a soap opera , that's what keeps it going , if everything on here was smooth sailing all the time most viewers would not turn in daily and be subjected to the advertised products . There has to be a constant friction through out .
why is ryan so dense not to put two and two together- that vicky did sleep with grant- why does he see what is in front of him! and not wait for stephanie to tell him?
