Oilers fan here… He’s a stud of a coach. Much respect
Much respect to u for not gloating and rubbing ur momentum in
How many conference championships? How many cups?……..perennial bridesmaids
Oilers fan here also, Dallas TERRIFIED me. Not at all joking. I'm not getting down on the oilers. But, Dallas was the team I was most afraid of. And, really the games were so close that I'm not really certain the outcome was satisfying. Benn could barely do his interview....I was a crying grown man trying to feel joy about the win. But I could feel how much it meant to Dallas. The effort, the respect for JP...I love the oilers, but I love hockey first. And even through the stupid Internet, I can feel the hurt.
Dallas , a superb honorable opponent. We salute you.
Classy moment for PDB, taking responsibility for his emotional answer the night before…and making peace with the reporter. Hope the Stars can even things up on Sunday.
Pulling for EDM here, but, DeBoer is a coach I've always liked. Ya, he gets heated at times, like Torts, but that's what I like about him. If you push his buttons, you "will" get a response, and there's nothing wrong with that.
These media people should know better than to ask some of the questions they do. They don't just walk in off the street for their first interview ever. They know exactly what they are doing when they ask these questions.
Lastly, this is the guy that people like to dogpile on? This guy. The guy who just took responsibility for his actions as well, and was mature enough to make peace with the reporter, in front of everyone? This is the guy people wanna s**t on? Unreal.
In any case, this has been a stellar series, Dallas has been absolutely great, but both teams can't win. If Edmonton wins the series tonight, it doesn't deflate Dallas' accomplishments in the least.
If Dallas wins the game tonight to force G7, I won't be the least bit surprised. If Dallas comes back to win the series, I won't be the least bit surprised. That's just how tight this series is, and neither fan base has any room to brag.
Stay classy, Dallas fans. It's been nice to interact with most of you through this series. Great fan base. 🍻 👎
Dallas Stars ticket holder. here…they have been a top tier team for awhile but have not shown the killer instinct or heart of a champion , they continually run out of gas each year..time to bring in someone who knows how to finish and has done so…Pete’s a bridesmaid
Stars Season ticket holder here too. I don’t think Pete is the problem this year. I think it’s injuries affecting defensive depth.
@@Diamondheartspadeclub I see your point, but Nils and Pete made this bed..still missing Klingberg..and Sutter has been…..bad…
Love this coach, I’ve always said Mcdavo & Drai are the clear 1&2 best players in the league but leaf fans tend to disagree for some odd reason.
Random blues fan here. DeBoer is a fantastic coach that has seemingly found success in almost every team he has coached. Ive always had a ton of respect for his style and class. Of the proven coaches in the league he is near the top of the list of who i would want coaching my team.
Panthers pretty tough team, they can play any way and still beat you.Dallas vs Panthers Stanley cup final
What a laugh!
DeBoer is obviously feeling the frustration. Dallas is depending too much on dangling a guy at the blue line. Edmonton is scoring the way you should by skating harder, and wanting the puck more than the opponent.Dallas looks tired.
i love Pete!
He,is a good coach, but truth be told, unless they win, this series, they looked totally, defeated! He sticks up for his players, but what is he to say, this late in the season!Dallas, did not respond, they looked flat!If they loose,it’s not the coach it is the players!
