SS and DC's vocals go surprisingly well with their respective covers, the only outlier is OtH and Team Present since their song is a completely different key compared to the others making it sound quite dissonant

My top 6 of my favorite mashup here : 6 Deep Cut + Present : the instrumental and the voices are absolutly not synchronised 5 Off the Hook + Past : the mashup okay but when Pearl started to sing, that sound really weird 4 Off the Hook + Future : That sound quite good then with Past's instrumental 3 Squid Sisters + Future : the start was quite weird but when they started to sing thogether, it sounded really good 2 Deep Cut + Past : weirdly, that soud REALLY good. The voices fit correctly with the instrumental and it sound like a happy version of this shout 1 Squid Sisters + Present : same arguments but it sound better (With real shout) 9 Deep Cut + Present 8 Off the Hook + Past 7 Off the Hook + Future 6 Squid Sisters + Past : I like the vibe of this shout but not really more but it's a great shout 5 Squid Sisters + Future 4 Deep Cut + Past 3 Off the Hook + Present : this Ebb and Flow is one of the best mix we got with the Octo Expention version. 2 Squid Sisters + Present 1 Deep Cut + Future : They cooked so far. @elliott3383 not in the slightest unfortunately... Yes, in the literal sense, but they are absolutely the favorite child. This is probably the only time OTH wasn't in the spotlight. Thinking of the fact that OTH was in both DLCs, and are (what I'm assuming) the most popular, compared to deepcut, who rarely gets any characterization besides being bandits, and has the least amount of appearances in game... as a deep cut lover, I'm glad they finally got to shine a bit more.😭
@@trp1x4l17 Deep cut not getting characterization is such a big lie first of all they were introduced in this game so they were going to get less characterization. But I think this is the most characterization we’ve gotten for any idols in their own game so they have their pallets and are a good way of looking at them. They have a lot of dialogue with a lot of flavor you get to learn that shiver isn’t this just like cold blooded person she really does really really really love deep cut. I mean look at her frostyfest dialogue explaining how she literally bought tickets so all three of them could do stuff together that was really sweet. Sunken scrolls also talk about them for example that Frye has twin sisters (and a brother because of the art book) she also expands on this during the frostyfest this is also why she chose team family

It's cause off the hooks voice has a much more different pitch than Squid Sisters and Deep Cut, making it impossible to sound good with the 2 other instrumentals, ty tho!

Cool detail i think you could have tried to do, use the idol Icons for the vocals being used, and when a different teams background music is playing, change the ink colors in the back grounf to match said team. Regardless i love this video!

I was expecting it to sound off and it did but The squid sisters shout during Deep cuts Solo just soothes the soul…. And vice versa too, why do the both of theirs work so well??
Also OTHs being severely off for the other idols is both a good and bad thing to me imo. It really makes their shout somewhat Unique since their ebb in flow music is indistinguishable and can’t be mixed up like here, unlike SS and DC since they have the same Tone in their singing. In a way it make it THEIR song, no one else’s.
With Oth singing with the future instrumental I can imagine tartar and his forces Invading Inkopolis square, and pearl and Marina didn’t know what else to do so they sang 😅

Off the Hook Instruments do not merge well with Deep Cut's Vocals, same with Deep Cut Instrumentals with Off the Hook Vocals. They don't mix well. But, 7/9 ain't bad.
