Recycled materials sheds are not just for the allotment 😁. Our garden shed is made from all the tongue and groove hubby stripped from the loft. The windows are also from the loft. I love to see what other people have made, great vid 😍.
Yes a good pair of wellies and thick socks is a must to keep dry and safe from Stepping on things. I just rinse them under the tap before going into the car. ☺ keep up. Really enjoyed the tour of your allotment but I would hate the noise. I never realized how noise mine was till I moved to a new site away from traffic☺
I like the idea of putting barrels together so that the rain water goes from one to the next. I may try something like that next spring. It's good to see how other people do things. You can get so many ideas. We did have some lite snow on Sunday, but all this week it will be in the 40's & no snow/rain. Happy Holiday to both of you. Your friend from Iowa, US. -- P.S. SPRING ONLY 3 mth. away. :) :)
Unfortunately our site rules permit a 6x4 shed no bigger & no smaller and you are only allowed to put it in the top left corner of your plot so they are all uniform. Silly thing is I can have 3 plots and 3, 6x4 sheds so I currently have 2 one with a single seat sofa and a table , tea and coffee making facilities and the other one with tools. Touch wood our site is very secure and not one break in has occurred on the whole site 🤦♂️
My shed was second hand and cost 70£, it has no window and I call it the Frankenstein shed as it has bits of other sheds holding it up and keeping it dry. But I love to sit put the radio and kettle on and read a Gardening magazine in the summer evenings. Honestly doesn't get much better.
you prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last couple of days =)
I'm lucky, hubby is a kitchen fitter on new build housing estates so we get loads of materials for free so I've gotten enough together for a nice shed and a new fence but struggle to find time to build it. Hopefully we'll get some work done over the Christmas holidays. 😁
If you go online locally, you can usually find sheds and greenhouses for free or at least very cheap if you’re willing to go and take them down. I got a 10 x 12 cedar wood summerhouse with leaded French windows!!! The owner was just going to smash it up and burn it.
@@diggingfordinner we are just getting our new allotment ready and i can't wait to build a great Hillbilly Shack. I only live opposite but my friend loves his astronomy and lives the furthest will crash there most nights no doubt🤣

Thank you for the tour. I like how generous you are with complementing other people’s work.

Nice video, love the tour of the allotment. But you should've had some wellies on laddie.

@Elliott Amari Definitely, have been watching on instaflixxer for years myself =)
Very interesting to see the variety of ways the sheds are built.
Hi joe & Kelly hope both of you are good
The idear of building your own shed is good one and to be able to make a home from home is great
Look forward to seeing what you do with the shed
It’s a good sign that people mean they intend to stay on there plots for long time unlike any at mine
Love your videos Joe always something different
We built ours from scratch we use trees branches for eaves beams. So because we had most of the wood we bought tongue and groove and paid £200.00.
